Happy, I think that the copper price and the prospect of continual rises over the next decade are what is keeping our spirits up. Against this background it would surely take a bigger lunatic than some assume Leon to be to screw up completely on the money side. This is a long term bet (longer than I expected) but short term the market is now a complete lottery and I shall be betting on Gold, Copper and Energy but not necessarily in that order.

It was mentioned in the RNS. Stop looking for spurious reasons to denigrate the company. Nobody believes you. You have not got the wits to make the criticism subtle enough to fool anyone on here.

NTGU. Actually there is little truth in the share price as we have little insight into how quickly production levels can be accelerated and what is happening especially in the LWP. Whilst that state of affairs continues people have to decide as to whether they are likely to lose or profit from the inefficient market this has created.

Any kind of vacuum in the newsfeed unfortunately continues to be filled by the cretinous speculation with no basis in fact from our resident naysayers. When you criticize them the tactic is to accuse you of bitterness. I'm not in the slightest bitter and still agree with most of what gotreal , froggers et al have to say about our strangers to the truth.

Re shares, I think management have taken the hint from recent posts that free rides for no progress ( at least financially)are off the menu

There seems to be some confusion here as to which instis are buying and selling. The latest information is that it is Miton buying with Genesis and Fidelity selling.

Axial, we none of us have. If I talk up the company it is only to balance the egregious nonsense that too often appears on here from many with no actual stake in the company. I do not make up figures, indulge in flights of fancy or believe everything that comes out of Leons mouth.

Constructive criticism needs to be based on reality however, not on attempts to influence the market and a glaring lack of information about the true state of things.

So many complaints about cost of production rising because of Middle east turmoil. What needs to be understood is that this is not going to be uniquely problematic for JLP. If anything it puts them in a better position than a very large number of other copper producers.

The shortage of both Sulphuric Acid and Diesel will impact everyone but some more than others. If it continues it could well lead to some producers going into C&M. Considering the world still needs large quantities of copper (especially for weapons including the ones currently being trashed by the US and Israel) the price will inevitably rise.

It would be interesting if, instead of moaning, someone did a careful analysis on the respective effects and costs this will have on JLP and other Cu miners and processors.

Since this morning however it is possible the straite will open to traffic and none of these factors will come into consideration to the same extent.
