Harmprof, if the sp doesn't double or triple over the fairly short term the plan will not be working and I will be trading out. If I wanted 10 to 50% per year I wouldn't be here. There are far safer prospects for that elsewhere.

Not strictly true Summit. If you had got out at or around the top before PGM prices fell (Not JLP's fault) a couple of years ago you would have made piles of money from the company (if you were in of course). Some of us are still here now because we were daft ( or greedy) enough not to do that but see the possibility of it happening again. Why are you here?

What will and won't happen is almost impossible to say but the probability that something which hasn't happened before is going to happen now is very small. Small enough that only you are talking about it. If you have something useful to say go ahead but that is not it.

Rather simplistic Kalan. had I owned an old but very clean say Ford Capri* 30 years ago and someone offered me more than the original buy price would I have taken it? Maybe but I would have been a fool to do so unless I needed the cash. Same goes for any number of cars. (*Just an example so don't bother wasting your time looking for the actual prices)

No-one has enough shares for a takeover. One at a low price would not be accepted anyway so please no straws in the wind which will encourage the ne'er do wells to flood us with posts on that subject.

Harmy, there is too much speculation unfortunately often from ignorance. Worse there is manipulation of the little information that we do have (and the constant moaning about that) to deliberately give a false impression of the real state of affairs. I pay little attention myself to most of this except where it comes from a few reputable sources such as Seisnav. Sensemaking it mostly is not. IMHO of course.
