Interesting article magmanus. Only wish I'd kept more of my 'original' investment from a few weeks ago as the potential for success for this company in Africa is good because they are sitting on two of the largest (known) REE assets on the continent. I have explored for REE in both the UK and in Africa and know how rare percentage levels of REE are in such significant tonnages.

A solution perhaps to all this inertia: why don't P2F make representations to the UK government to secure a contract for future outbreaks / pandemics - not just this one? The P2F mask becomes the 'industry standard' for pandemics.

Lovely to see them breaking their previous recent high. Trajectory today straight-lining suggests rise will continue.

I agree with you they behaved so badly. Part of that was covering themselves with this RNS - which of course contains a suitable ambiguity in the form of its second paragraph!

Statement regarding share price movement



Remote Monitored Systems plc ("RMS" or the "Company") notes the recent rise in the Company's share price and confirms that it is not aware of any reason for the increase.

As previously announced, the Company's General Meeting will take place at 10:30 a.m. on 4 November 2020 at GyroMetric Systems Limited, Unit 23, The Heathcoat Building, Nottingham Science and Technology Park, University Boulevard, Nottingham, NG7 2QJ. The meeting will be a "closed meeting" with shareholders unable to attend due to the ongoing Coronavirus however results will be published via RNS as soon as practicable following the meeting.

And of course if BRH had faith in the product they'd have pumped in some of the money they made from selling their shares in RMS (or never sold in the first place)!

I don't think it would be good PR using students. BRH have pots of cash and are supposed to be helping support the rollout, which should include paying staff. I'd have preferred a lot more transparency when it comes to that sort of thing. The success of this venture really lies in the hands of the P2F team and their best option would be so sell to a company with a global presence - providing the product is good enough. They'd sell the mask part of the business only I guess. Companies would do their due diligence and decide. I was quite intimately involved in the Cove Energy story and sale and only hope for those of you who are invested in this much more than me that it comes off

Some years ago I spent the day with a mate - a non-exec director of an AIM-listed company the day he was expecting due diligence inquiries from interested bidders. So we went walking in the Peak District out of mobile range. The company was sold soon after for 1.2 billion. He could be cool cause there wasn't a ticking clock!

This is ticking up on a small number of quite reasonable buys over the last few days. An interesting pattern. Good company for takeover - small capitalisation, popular brands and good growth potential in 'emerging' drinks markets such as southern Africa.
