I could be wrong, but it looks to me that an institution, possibly Lombard, is still buying.

Following the growth warning in March 2 x 5% holdings and 1 x 10% holding sold, although we don't know how much they disposed of. We now have pretty much a matching set of buys, with 2 x 5% and Lombard increasing their holding from below 5% to over 10%. Obvious that institutions see significant value at this level, and whilst they don't always get it right it is reassuring that they have taken the same decision as me.

As I've stated previously it was clear that an order was being worked, so I've been continuing to buy when funds became available. The opportunity is still there to buy at the same level as this crop of institutions, and at slightly below my average. It will be interesting to see how long it lasts.

Predictions are so hard to get right though aren't they. Take GENL for example. Anyone following your tip would be 5% down already, and yet no doubt you are still confident.

You clearly have an agenda to post negative views on PHD, but there is absolutely no reason for anyone to take any notice. Institutions will move this share, not chancers on messageboards.

In many ways it depends on the return that you want. Frustrating though it is to see other shares flying, these are the minority. Most rainbow chasers are serial losers. Yes you may take your money out and select a share that will rise immediately, but it may also fall.

PHD has been in the doldrums for a couple of months, but if it even rises to 40p it's a 30% increase. I wouldn't always suggest waiting as the best way forward for AIM shares, but this is a profit making business with a plan to bring back growth. Not much day to day excitement maybe, but a good medium term bet that in my view is better value than a series of short term gambles.

Yes I do. You believe differently if you wish. There is plenty of evidence of IIs buying into PHD at multi year lows. Perhaps they didn't realise that the trade was a short.

Still no trade reported from the sudden jump a week ago. Not sure how that could be, unless it is still being filled. Definite background buying though.

Very much doubt it, unless MQ finally accepts the SP is going to rise not fall.

Plenty of depth on the bid still. I can sell 250,000 shares at 30.56 if I wish, but much tighter on the offer. Not too sure what the trades today are about, especially the 2 x 25,000, but I presume that these are not sells as such.

Mms clearly happy to take their time at the moment, but it would certainly be interesting if a few buys came in. Today's price represents a great opportunity in my view, backed as it is by what seems to be a sizeable background buy. Not many seem to recognise it just now, but I agree we are not far away.

Next news will probably be another TR1 given the background buying. Before that we should see the publication of the recent large background buy being put through. After that who knows, new contract/new product?

They haven't. That is total shares. GAM have taken about 5 million, which is still a hefty amount.
