I mean, why not? Clearly worked for Simandou and lots of similarities with Zioc. It's the best way of getting the most cash.

I think we need to see the detailed, fully costed Coidic plan first for the route-to-market and the completion of DD before we get to that stage.

DGR, it kills the market for Zioc. Other AIM shares around the same market cap/price have much tighter spreads of 0.2p. In recent days I've seen Zioc quoted on HL at 8-8.2p and dummy trades confirmed that. Then, they suddenly whack it up to stupid levels where no-one will trade it.

Why? I don't understand the volatility of the spread in Zioc.

Spread just now jumped from 7.8p-8.18p to 7.5p-9p. Absolute joke, MM's ripping everyone off.

What's the consensus on how the AAOG share price will react in the morning?

If you continue to post on here, you reveal yourself as a de-ramper, perhaps looking to buy-in again after realising your mistake in selling. I’m afraid that’s the only conclusion one could draw.

Simon, you are walking a tightrope fella. When this 25 bags, you will have to carry the burden of missing out with you for the rest of your life. That WILL be tough, however mentally robust you normally are.

This is a share that isn’t a share. It’s more a pension plan. You buy these and stick em’ in your bottom drawer for that eventual sunny day that changes your life. You don’t monitor the price from day-to-day but perhaps from week to week or month-to-month. You know it’s coming, but just not when.

My own feeling is that we are now very close to payday. Possibly Q2 this year.

Not a single mention of Align in that long, detailed RNS. Tells you one thing only.........this existing BoD are corrupt (IMO) and NOT working in shareholders interests. They are only seeking to line their own pockets further by pushing for the Zen deal which gives them golden parachutes while us shareholders get wiped out.

Sooty, I too emailed AT about 3 weeks ago about funding requirements/cash raising but have not had a reply.

It seems to me that the “market” has discounted the possibility of a buy-out happening at all. I think the market is assuming that Zanaga will not be bought out and instead will continue to kick the can down the road with Glen looking on disinterested. This is a mistake! Zanaga WILL be taken out in 2020. We know that Fortescue are looking for iron ore assets and they will be sizing up an approach for Zanaga right about now. Then there are the other big players like Rio, Vale, Chinalco etc etc.

To me it’s inconceivable that all those big players are simply going to turn a blind eye to the worlds 5th largest iron ore deposit. Inconceivable.

This is a pure waiting game now for LTH’s. For a quick sale I think £2 per share valuation is not silly or unreasonable given the size of the asset and it’s quality.

What is now crystal clear is that the AAOG BoD are desperately trying to run down the clock to the GM so they can bounce shareholders into a ruinous Zen deal that destroys all hope of a recovery in AAOG fortunes.

I'll take £2 all day long. Would value the asset at $1.4bn. Stupidly cheap when compared against Simandou. This would count as "low ball" IMO.

This odious BoD are NOT acting in the best interests of it's shareholders. That is plain. Seems to me that the Zen deal would enable them to avoid any scrutiny of their roles in this sorry mess since last April. It would also enable them to walz off into the sunset with whatever money is left after 6 months. They are now only interested in their own further enrichment and don't give a **** about us shareholders.

This all stinks to high heaven.

Well, today, my holding went from 100% of nothing to 100% of almost nothing.

Still, there's life left in this dog yet! Hold onto your shares because it could get very interesting in the days and weeks ahead!

Simon, fair comments. However, I think you may have set yourself on a path of lifelong regret if/when we get the Carlsberg RNS. Would you ever be able to forgive yourself if the big buyout came within months?? I couldn't if I was you.

Remember, Zioc is sitting pretty with friends with very deep pockets. So a placing is the least likely outcome here not least because the directors would also take a hit to their pockets.

As I've already said, there are many creative ways to raise cash. In fact, wouldn't be surprised if we get bought out before extra cash is needed.

You Zen dudes should be careful what you wish for. This is a warning from an AAOG shareholder that Congo is a moneypit and the Congolese will play you like a fiddle as they have AAOG. Remember, things looked very rosy for aaog last April but now lies in ruins having been shafted by snpc refusing to pay back monies owed. Same will happen to Zen. Buyer beware!
