Me too. Got 100 at 33.40 and will double up at 30 quid if it gets there. Great for regular divi and also get £150 on board spend next May when cruising the Med. No brainer at these prices.

Was also undecided about PFC or Wood Group. Wood group = high debt but no SFO, on the other hand PFC=low debt but SFO hanging over it.

I think the clincher is PFC=no stamp duty lol.

atg, agree completely. I’m also holding 75% cash just waiting for any severe correction which IMO will come before too long. The thing is though, eventually, Trump needs to present a trade deal with China to his electorate in the run up to his re-election campaign.

So, my take..........correction coming, then a lull, then a recovery as US election approaches and Trump secures a trade deal and tariffs come off. Massive recovery after that and bull run.

It’s a time for caution.

Wether we're at the bottom depends a lot on how Trump impeachment goes. If he's toast, so are the markets and a large correction is inevitable.

However, it's a high bar for impeachment in terms of numbers in the Senate required. So, while possible, unlikely.

Never ever forget, its only a paper loss until you sell. Could look totally different in a months time.

Yep, charts don’t apply to stocks like zioc. It’s price action is driven by news and perception, NOT by performance. When (not if) the right news lands this will go absolutely berserk!!!

3p is the bottom. That is pretty much what the last month has revealed. Large support at this level as vast majority holding at much higher prices.

Hold for major oil before year end.

Another pump and dump today by the day traders. However, this giant is stirring now and I feel that we are only weeks or a few months away from the Carlsberg RNS. You can bet your bottom dollar that discussions and deals are being thrashed out in the background amongst multiple parties. I think it’s a case of just patiently waiting now for our day in the sun to arrive.

It will, of that I’ve no doubt. Holding Zioc shares is as close as you’ll ever get to having a winning lottery jackpot ticket.

Ant77, poignant story and perhaps a lesson for us all. I can appreciate what you are going through. About 2 years ago I bought Petrofac just before the price crashed from 660p to around 4 quid after they released an RNS that wasn’t needed but spooked the market. Long story short - I kept averaging down all the way to just above 4 quid. I was eventually “in” for £200 grand all told at an average well above the share price. I was nearly £35 grand down and had many a sleepless night. It seemed hopeless at times and I dreaded the missus ever finding out. The share price stagnated for quite a while and I was deeply depressed and felt like a fool and a failure.

However, I held my nerve because I knew in time it would recover. It was a long road, but eventually the price started climbing and past my cheaper buy-ins. Eventually I got back to break-even after many dark days. It felt like the world had been lifted off imy shoulders. I eventually sold with an £8500 profit which wasn’t much compensation for months of anguish and sleepless nights but what it does show is that all is never lost despite how dark it seems at the time.

Keep your chin up fella, think about what’s REALLY important to you and keep believing that you will get back your losses and then some. You will have to bide your time and it won’t be easy, but it will recover - eventually.

You sound like a shrewd chap who had a sensible strategy but just got carried away. It’s an easy mistake to make and one that most of us have done at some point.

This I don’t get. Why is Petro Matad, after its 14th straight duster, holding 5p when we, having hit the Djeno plumb centre, are ****ing about at 3.5p???

I mean, we’re on the verge of extracting 2-5000 barrels of the (almost) lightest, sweetest crude sold at a Brent price, and ...............................I’m baffled.

Sooty, I too don’t see it happening imminently. However, I feel that a likely timeframe for a jv or buyout is before year end.

Quite simply, if you have 10,000 pounds and want to turn it into 100,000 pounds and you can leave the cash in for 12-18 months and be relaxed about it, then Zioc is a cast iron nailed on certainty. Unless of course man invents a new way to make steel without needing iron ore!! Or RoC vanishes into thin air, or.............sorry can’t think of anything else.

Take it as a ramp if you like, but I’m a holder (for 3 years now) and I’m as convinced as I could be.

guff, I concur too. Much going on behind the scenes. Deals being put together. No eady thing with so many stakeholders so patience needed. The big one is coming, I can feel it in my waters.

Bodes well for tomorrow. Lots of burnt bridges need repairing here between AAOG BoD and PI's before the share price can recover.
