I simply don't see a problem here! The SFO aren't stupid, they will recognise the huge efforts made by PFC not only in helping with the investigation but also putting into place proper procedures and training. They've already got their man - Lufkin - and I think case will be closed with perhaps a token fine to cover case costs. Say £25 mill.

Ayman Asfari stepped down recently. Ask yourself why? My guess is that it was a pre-condition of a wider deal between the sfo and PFC to reach an amicable conclusion and move on.
