Up nearly another 9% today, we should be breaking 15p right now, I am a bit disappointed atm

The response isn’t muted, it’s as strong as it can be right now.. markets are waiting for that deal to be announced, and that could push oil above $35 and stay there which in turn will push us towards 30p... demand around the world has been severely hit, and so any good news in the oil sectors is met with nothing more than just good news... it looks like Italy has peaked and the numbers are now falling, Spain is also close.. US still has couple of weeks, rest of Europe is already seeing a slow down.. April will be diabolical but after that we should see a very quick return to normality for businesses..

Brent went from -4% to just over +3% and I can’t see why, markets know something is coming? It’s over $31... will be interesting to see the rig count today

We should be able to close around 15p today.. and if things go well next week could go above 22p.. again all depends on that deal

Short term this should fly, only thing that can drag us down is if trumps announcement turns out to be nothing more than his usual exaggeration... very happy with the rns, and looking forward to the asset sales.. next thing I want to see is a commitment to drilling in Guyana with both Total and Repsol.. everyone is find oil there, Guyana will be a giant future oil producer, and it is by far the quickest way to secure more reserves and sort out the debt... Africa has been nothing but a headache, governments are too greedy and corrupt, time to slowly move away, that should be their strategy!

That’s really good news for us, total must be desperate to explore our license as well, considering how many strikes of light crude we had near by.. I hope that the new ceo at Tlw will be smart enough to drill 3-4 exploration wells and appraise jethro next year.. this year is gone, everything is on its head

Massiveray, I agree with u. I don’t think ppl understand how much of a nutcase that guy really is.. if we get confirmation tomorrow that SA and Ru made a deal to cut 15mb that would send the price close to $40.. I always said that a combined deal of 5-7m won’t be enough but will provide short term support.. 15mb deal would be nothing short of a miracle.. If it gets confirmed tomorrow, I am changing my view completely and in this case our new bottom will be above 20p.. this confirmation will truly be transformational for the oil market

Trump can’t be hard on saudis as they are his puppets in the Middle East.. they buy billions worth of weapons from US which trump has advertised relentlessly.. putler is now enjoying the propaganda times more than ever, sending aid to countries while his ppl are dying everyday.. but who cares when u look good on the news.. so if he signs a deal, trump will make it look like he was the reason, and putler will make sure everyone in Russia will think he is the one that crushed the Americans and made them cave etc just one big circus while we are stuck in the middle of it
