First resistance, also I think 22p now is the new support and bottom..so if the deal isn’t that impressive, we could drop no to 22p but can’t see it dropping below unless ofc there will be no deal

We are on our way there, if the deal is signed and is better than expected... sentiment has changed and the short squeeze is as good as when those ****ers took us down to 7p... Expecting a drop of around 10-15% on Monday morning.. can see us dropping to around 15.5-16p as well.. hopefully the meeting does go well on the 8th-9th and the market can start to stabilise around $35 until the virus starts to ease off

Three OPEC sources, who asked not be identified, said the emergency virtual meeting planned for Monday would likely be postponed until April 8 or 9 to allow more time for negotiations.

Sources later downplayed the Saudi-Russia row, saying the atmosphere was still positive, although there is no draft deal yet or agreement on details such as a reference level from which to make the supply cuts.

“The first problem is that we have to cut from the current production level now, not to go back to the one before the crisis,” one of the OPEC sources said.

You can’t make this **** up.. he just made an announcement saying that poo under $40 is not good for the Russian economy and that the ministers should do everything to get the prices up to $40 lol i now fully expect the meeting on Monday to end positively, I think a cut of 10mbpd would be a very good start!

All depends on oil, it is moving bk now so the rally didn’t hold till the end.. still very encouraging.. just need the clown to come through with his promise now or he will be responsible for a very big drop in poo come next week

That was a good effort and a good push, traders sold at around 18p and some will be taking positions before the end of day.. some will wait until next week to see if the deal comes through, before buying again.. as for the rest of us, hopefully we can celebrate another good week and a stable sp in the 20s

No, looking at just today’s news there is no way we can get to 50p by end of April, that’s impossible considering the state that the world is in.. It seems like many here either don’t understand what 20mbpd glut is or are simply trolls writing anything just for the hell of it... today’s news was amazing and exactly what we needed to steady the ship and never see the single digits again.. next step is for Ru and Sa to agree on the cut next week.. that should keep us stable in the 20s... and I personally don’t see any more news anytime soon after that... next huge push will be when corona eases and demand starts to pick up, and hopefully at the same time we can announce a farm down in Guyana and some asset sales.. after that i want to see an exploration campaign being finalised for 2021 in Guyana as that is the only thing that can take is no to £2 and beyond!

Poo is on course to $35.. I have a feeling that if the cuts are confirmed early next week we could see this rocket past 22p easy.. a good positive trend atm, may it continue
