I don't understand what Germany and Norway has to do with the P#1 resutls so am puzzled by the reference.

1 well no; How about 6 Wells. Does 6 Wells provide enougg data to reach a better understanding of the Bahamian geology?

I wanted to reply to the 20:19 post without giving an opinion, which is difficult as it leads to me beating the same drum.

However the data is the data. We are all free to read, ignore, interpret & cross reference current data with historical data. We are also free to just trust in the company rhetoric that it will lead to that elusive pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
The local geology is the only thing matters right?
I regularly butt heads with posters who dismiss the historical geological reports but support the BPC reports. Even though the BPC reports match the historical reports in that only dead oil was found.

There is oil production in other basins which matches the Bahamas basin. As there would be everywhere else in the world with those layers an similar geology.

There is currently no producing oil well in the Bahamas basin. (That does not mean there never will be) Is that because all the oil that used to be there has evaporated away? So far that's what the data indicates. We are all free to disagree with that data. That does not mean that a unguie trap cannot exist and can be found at flowed at commercial rates.
Are the odds stacked up against that dream scenario? Make your own mind up.

Personally I have revised my optimistic SP target based on the news flow but I am confident of a breakeven achievable by year end. And I am basing that on the T&T assets alone.

I agree. However the investors who are sitting on paper losses many times greater than mine, see any objectivity & realistic interpretation as an act of preventing them & intern myself from recovering losses.
Which is bonkers but if one believe traders have opened short positions when the SP is at a 5 year low, when the SP can only really go up from here based on forecasted T&T operations, it sounds like a Tin Foil Hat anecdote to me & being emotionally invested.

Interesting reading everyones thoughts after watching the interview.
For any psychologists & body language experts/practitioners here I'd be interested in reading any opinion you care to offer, to see if it matches mine.

Did that interview provide some answers for the questions & concerns some of us have or maybe even clarity on points that have been debated since Feb 8th?

I have drafted a post on the Bahamas licence but evidently people are tired of hearing my realistic opinion because my posts are destroying the dream.

Seems like there is sentiment here for BPC to reinvest every penny from cash generative operations into further Bahamas exploration. And capital raises when that isn't possible.

Maybe one believes the future of BPC relies solely on a Bahamas discovery as opposed to its current cash generative fields.

Until BPC is producing 4000+bpd I don't think they should be spending capex they don't have.
When BPC get to an annual cash profit of £30m+, then I can get behind off-shore drilling & not be disheartened by non commercial result because I know the market will shrug off any negative result & the SP will remain relatively secure.

I will add that I have never questioned the T&T portfolio. I have always been upbeat about it & encouraged by BPC now prioritising the core asset.

I share this sentiment.
