Aim, the results have been taken badly by the market, however they weren’t that bad and there has to be a bounce soon even if it’s a 5-10% bounce, as far as I can tell there is a fairly strong support at 240 so may be in for a quick trade around there, let’s see how the sp reacts in the coming days.. got to love a gamble 😁

I remember when Lombard odier bought 5% and the sp didn’t move hardly much at all.

He also said when you have a buisness with £2 BILLION of sales on the way to normal profitability (at least 6-8 % margin) then the share price could go up a lot as all the main stream investors will be fighting over the stock! Let’s hope that happens…

Trenners, I also rewatched the Stavely interview from your link and to be fair he said nothing much would happen to the sp this year. The only thing that might catalyse the sp was the sale of the last business in the regulated for value division which was the closed book life and pension s buisness that’s costing £20m in free cash flow a year.

It was only oasis buying that lifted the sp and it’s only gone down on PI weakness. If they can sell the CBLP buisness this year to save £20m FCF then should see a rise back to at least 300.

Trenners, yes I remember you saying about that and someone said you were trying to get back in cheaper, I did actually recommend that persons post as it did actually look like that at the time but now I know you where being honest about the rapid increase in the sp (which was fun to watch btw) but obviously wasn’t sustainable so sorry about that, don’t take it personally. 😁

You are right trisor that started the first half of the sp decline followed by the results that didn’t look great with all the front loaded costs and everything. There’s going to be a bounce in the sp soon though and we should see a steady increase from now ish until the end of year trading update where they should hopefully announce positive FCF from now onwards. IMO

Trenners, I sold 20% of my holding at average 338 to buy another share that hasn’t done a lot, didn’t think the capita sp would fall this far though. Im now looking to buy those capita shares back but going to wait a bit longer. I thought Aim said 250 but did call it from 300 so FairPlay.

To be fair to aimless, she loves a good entry but not a good exit.. seems to be happy with a 15 to 20% profit..😆 the only problem with that is buying at 195 and selling at 238 then it goes to 358 like when the ii bought in recently. However I do see a trading range of 240 - 300 until December trading update as probably not much going on in the way of news now until then? unless another ii buys in.. of course that’s the risk you take from now on.. and with positive free cash flow getting ever closer than who knows….
