If the enlarged VAST ever gets to a mid-tier £200m co, then our 20% would be £40m. Far greater than the £6m we’re at today. But that would be a big IF.

We’ve got a market cap of £6.5M and debts of £10M so surely once we’ve paid off the debt from the sale of the diamonds and the latest placing, we should have a market cap of around £16M. Or am I missing something.

Whilst I agree that the 1 trade doesn’t mean an rns is imminent , there are too many 1 trades and 77 trades to mean nothing. It’s just that we don’t know what it is. Incidentally of all the other shares I keep an eye on, none of them use the 77 code. It seems peculiar to vast.

Short l've never stated any intention of giving up share dealing-it's a profitable hobby of mine, and I enjoy hobbies that bring returns. I also appreciate the research involved, which is another interest of mine. It keeps the mind sharp, and since good research is central to successful investing, the two complement each other perfectly. If you can find a post where I've suggested stepping away from investing, l'd be genuinely surprised. As for the 296 posts-while I expected the number might be higher, it's not about quantity but quality. Most of my posts share information relevant to the shares being discussed, which is the primary purpose of these boards. In contrast, based on what l've seen, only around one in twenty of your posts appears to offer value to other users.

I've been open about trading this share, as I mentioned in my post, but returns are declining rapidly and the writings on the wall. My trading has been automated for some time, but strategies evolve, and better opportunities exist. I'm now focusing more on long-term investments for steady growth and dividends, making shares like this a poor use of time and resources. Having retired, I prefer to spend my free time on what l enjoy rather than constantly researching investments.

ASI look back at your posts around 20-21 February. Clearly you forget what you post.

ASI I read that you were giving up share dealing as there wasn’t much profit in it anymore and you had better things to do with your precious time. 296 posts in the last 30 days tells a different story.

So ASI, if you currently don’t own any vast shares, what’s this all about.

I’m willing to wait and see what happens, as my average is only 0.21 in my main account. The other account would need a rocket under it so it’s pointless even looking.

Asi. It shouldn’t matter to you, what the value of the diamonds are since you no longer hold any vast shares. If you remember your automated trading would have sold your last remaining 5 million shares last Friday, when the sell price went over 0.6p

Imagine a fully automated trading program that buys low and sells high and doesn’t waste any of my precious time. Sounds like a SIMPLE idea to me. Wonder if anyone else has thought of it.

You would think Simple, that a share price that rises 100% then falls back and rises again would be a traders dream. You stated that your trades are automated and you have no emotive connection with Vast, having made a small fortune here. You also told struv to stop cursing the management and start making money, yet here you are whinging about the management and thinking about selling up and moving on. You’re full of bs.

I find I’m actually 7.45% in profit for the first time in a long time. Yet just over two weeks ago you posted that you were 9% in profit. So if you’re going to post bs you need to remember your previous lies.

Some people have been burned in the past and just can’t get over it. Should never have been allowed to invest in aim companies. They’re not grown up enough to take a hit.

Spot on steward. I blame the state of the company’s finances almost entirely on the zim government for not complying with the court order and handing over the diamonds. AP is doing his best to make this company profitable under the circumstances and needs a bit more time. I, like most people here are heavily underwater ( except one who’s made a small fortune) but I don’t keep whinging on about the management . Let them do their job and hopefully the tide will turn.
