Again you are missing the point so let me break it down for you. If I'm earning 200k+ a year for the last 10 years and invest only 20k in AST, that is only 10% in 1 year. On the other hand if someone is earning 25k and invests 12.5k that is 50% of his earning in a year. Who do you think is affected more? Knowing your brains cells can't work this out, call a friend.

Again those who invest their money here are willing to risk it and it might be a small position for them and idiots like you see this as if these guys know the inside info and place all their cards upon this and mislead other people into buying.

All my AST investment is money I can afford to lose. Those that are buying how do you know if it's significant amount, may just be pocket money for many of them and worth the risk.

Ok we know the positive sides of early settlement, now let's discuss the negatives.

Slovenia knew the deadline is fast approaching so they decided to go into negotiations only to show the arbitration court they did approach investor to resolve this issue.

To me arbitration case is 50/50 chance of success as countries can demand a EIA if they believe any new activity on these wells can have adverse affect on the environment. Like many pointed out AST should have done this long time ago and had it been rejected our case success would have been higher. Any thought on what negatives can stack up against AST?

What is wrong with people who can't even read. The issue was about the exaggerated cost of 100m for such arbitration case. It has nothing to do with the merits of the case or country agreements!

It's seems too many people have lost so much money on this company that now it's affecting them so badly that they can't move on in life.

Problem is you only seeing the bad history of company. Considering all oil and gas companies are high risk reward. Not sure what history you referring to when failure rate is extremely high. Of course the management have been bad and mishandled a lot of things but according to the AIM regulators they have done nothing wrong! All legal and played by the book. Best of all you can't do anything about it so your posts here are meaningless!

I've have invested here and hope it will turn out good as Slovenia needs a boost to their economy as most EU countries will go into recession and what is better than being self sufficient for 10 - 15 years by rejecting 95% of Russian gas reliance.

If they walk I hope they will get some of that 50m spent. Even a mere 10m will be a good start for the Cuban venture. If they just walk away without any resolution then I would be very disappointed as that clearly means further placings to cover overheads and dream big ventures. Didn't anyone ask the question on ligation funding and why a day later it was pulled?
