dinger189, care to explain how you can speak with such authority when you state "if any potentially positive talks had even begun"!!! yes let's be honest you haven't the foggiest about what's going on within the company regarding "talks" or when official information or any other price sensitive information will be released in an official RNS, you are making wild unsubstantiated remarks.
I was mainly stating an opposing opinion to Chilting's guess about the shorting situation.
Sheps8.
Chilting, your "guess" could very much be applied in the opposite direction given your "The SP is still way below the falling average - around 6-7p - and is therefore very vulnerable." "Regardless of the good news that now looks more likely at the end of the month" is my guess is that shorters would be in extremely dangerous territory to "try and take the SP down another step" given the high risk factor of the SP rising rapidly on any good news regarding the finance restructuring.

Sorry for the inside info, bloke int Wilsons Arms just told me they are about to announce that they are advertising for the following skill sets:
http://ministryofmorale.com/?p=1655
Eskman, I'm not quite sure where you were during the three arduous years of the planning process with the NYMNP, if you followed it you might just get the flaw In your plan about trucking a up to a million tons of ore a year down the road past Sneaton to Ruswarp, more chance of being struck by lightning than that ever happening, they wouldn't allow it, of that I am absolutely certain ;-)
Sheps8.
RUSirius, so basically you invested in Sirius purely based on a CEO promoting and gaining support for the business he is employed to steer and promote, not a hint of acceptance that you invested in a mining start up and the massively documented and historical risks associated with such a project, no you think has to be someone else's fault for your own decisions, and from the minute you realise that it's not all blue sky sailing and real life events throw up obstacles you try constantly and repeatedly to reinforce your justification for your own personal misgivings on others by trying to place that responsibility on someone else.
It's obviously a bit too late for this but grow up RUSirius, act like a man and not a coward hiding behind others, I don't normally speak of my own personal investment but I too am considerably down on my investment here like most, difference is I don't look to offload my responsibility on anyone but myself and will see this through to the end because I believe in the company as a whole
I'm most certainly not a happy clapper to CF or anyone for that matter but I do have the ability to look at this situation objectively, no CF is not some god like being but then again he has never tried to be one, it's you that needs to take the glasses off RU and realise that your kind of behaviour does absolutely nothing to help either you or anyone else invested in Sirius Minerals, you've been at this blame laying for far too long now completely ignoring real life and world circumstances that bring us to this point, what exactly do you think you are actually achieving apart from undermining investor confidence even more.
I cannot fathom such stupidity other than to reiterate I find your posting and history very suspicious indeed, it's one thing to be dissatisfied and disappointed and want to express it, it's another to spend years doing so out of bitterness because you and no one else made the decisions about your own financial matters, get over yourself.
Sheps8.
RUSirius, don't think for one minute that a many LTH's don't know how long you've been doing your utmost to destroy investor confidence on this particular board, a long time before the ST2 finance issues kicked in, there can be no doubt you have an agenda to destabilise investor confidence on this board with your constant rants that deliberately aims to whitewash over any external issues that have thrown up hurdles all along the way for this company but instead try to place all the blame on one mans shoulders, your pseudonym on here raised an eyebrow from your first post and I was totally right to be suspicious of your motives, let's face it you would have to be completely insane to diss your own investment with such venom over such a long period of time that you have, I personally think you should be at the top of that list of the people that need investigating, I find your posting and history here very suspicious indeed and have done a long long time before the company's current difficulties.
Sheps8.
Tony, your apology about your frustrations is commendable, thankyou, I too am frustrated not because of my own considerable investment here but the situation regarding what this company brings to not only our immediate area but the North East as a whole, what I feel so many people are overlooking is that economic uncertainty surrounding our own country regardless any personal view about Brexit has had a severe and overbearing effect on Sirius's efforts to get ST2 finance away as originally planned then changed to the JPM and Bonds, many people where involved in negotiations over this outwith Sirius's own financial team, while so many are looking in frustration to apportion blame to individuals very few of those don't seem to want to seriously consider this, I like many have followed all angles of this project, sometimes dedicating far too much of my personal time that could have been better spent on other things, however one thing that I'm determined to do is try and be objective about what's happening and wherever possible point out when I know personal opinions are just that rather than facts, please accept my apologies if my remarks to you came across as personal too, I understand your frustrations I just want to keep mine in check to facts where possible and not look to lay blame without looking at all the real underlying causes of the current situation.
In reality where would we be without the foresight determination tenacity and skills that got this project from some core samples below the NYMNP the most protected environment in the world to where it is today, people easily forget what we've been through to get to this point and in my opinion despite concerns it's most certainly not over yet.
ATB Sheps8.
Oh dear Tony, as someone who knows all about the accomodation facilities Sirius use in Scarborough I'm afraid you now really are misleading people, there most certainly has not been hundreds of empty hotel rooms stood empty in Scarborough, I won't pretend (like you) that I know about whitby, tell me have you ever visited the Sirius offices in Scarborough? I have and it's full of people not just Sirius direct staff but that of the management and admin of the contractors working on the project, the need for this was essential on a project of this complexity.
I'm afraid I know your talking nonsense Tony, absolutely and utter nonsense.
Sheps8.
TonyFawcett, I'm afraid you seem to be the type of person that's apportioning blame on anyone but those responsible for their own actions by dangerously overcommiting themselves to one investment, name me a single company that does not promote itself, jparticularly a start up company, can you point me to where Fraser said to anyone "you must by theses shares, you need to specifically read exactly what Fraser has said, I've met him on several occasions and your personality assassination of him could not be further from the truth, he is anything but a man of "ego and exuberance" indeed if you are the person I think you are a good look in the mirror would be my advise to you!!!.
Your comment about "misssmanagement and wasting shareholders money "care to be a bit more specific about that? or perhaps you think a CEO driving around in a Rangerover when he should be driving a Ford Focus is more to your liking, finally you know full well you are as entitled to your own opinions and expressions of dissatisfaction as anyone on here but do not assume your misguided bitter and misleading statements and thoughts belong to anyone else, especially those of us who perhaps have a greater knowledge of Sirius its history, hurdles and project than it would appear you do.

Cherokee101, as someone who has recently spent considerably less time on the Internet, listening to gossip, creative invention or up me own rectum but chosing instead to spend a little bit more time personally looking and investigating actual site activity including visiting on this very dank wet Sunday Woodsmith, Lockwood Beck and Wilton I feel the need to inform you of your "but what do I know" is totally misleading and wrong.
Being polite and avoiding the insulting language but you either have been fed totally false information or you need to take a good look in the mirror with regard to terminology you are using because totally false information all three sites are full of construction activity, I'm pretty sure the shift change coaches lined up at Woodsmith weren't transporting a decommissioning crew. ;-).

jonesrichard your "why don't you go and work for the Motley Fool, you will fit right in there and you can get paid £45 per time."
For some considerable time I have suspected that casa is paid for his contributions to this board, a book I read and recently referenced on here about stock investing gave quite an insight into the shadier side of these boards and yes it does go on , your making a big mistake if you take anything written on here at face value from anyone, be very wary because those who a paid are very clever cookies indeed, they are selected because of their ability to deceive, often posing questions and analysis that cannot reasonably argued because the information is not freely available in the public domain, a big DYOR as the basis for own investment decisions and blame no one but yourself if those decisions don't turn out as you thought.
It seems to me you take this board far too seriously in place of your own independent research and analysis.
ATB Sheps8.
Thanks for reinforcing my sentiments about this board dogstar, in a couple of sentences you've summed up exactly the type of person I'm referring to, it's only when you get away from this board that you get perspecivet as to how pathetic it's become with so many people on both sides of the coin refusing to accept responsibility for their own actions, trying to shift responsibility on to others because they post on what was generally a board for talking about the company from all perspectives, that certainly isn't what this board is now, full of creatures trying to influence others into making decisions about their own money and investments, about as low as you can get IMO.
Sheps8.
For all you genuine LTH's.
It is only when you stop following this board as I've done since just after the suspension of the bonds and just look in on the odd occasion that you really get a grasp of what it's become, a feeding ground for sad individuals who for some reason or another think they can influence you in your decisions regarding your investment, when you don't follow page after page of the recent incumbents in the cesspit they've turned this board into you quickly realize just what a pathetic board this has actually become, some of you could benefit from taking a big step back from what's going on here for your own good, it really does give you perspective not only about the your own financial situation but your mental wellbeing, you are swimming in a sea of sharks.
Best Wishes and Kind Regards to all you genuine people out there.
Sheps8.
RuSirius, nothing gives you the right to make assumptions about how 'most' shareholders feel about the CEO, just for the record I've held you in the lowest esteem for years, nothing but a moaning windbag of the highest order.
Sheps8.
Some very very nasty sad individuals plagued this board, no more comments from me, their not worth the **** on my shoes, and if anyone is influenced by them rather than make your own judgement you really really shouldn't be in charge of pocket money let alone shares.
All the best to you genuine people out there.
Sheps8.
Forcett, the truth is no one but no one should make a decision to sell or buy shares based on what anyone says on this board, the level of people telling people what they should and shouldnt do with their own money is absolutely shocking and disgraceful, one thing im absolutely positive of is they have an agenda to suit their wellbeing not anyone else's.
Those here to say 'I told you so" and continue to try and influence others are the lowest of the low though.
Sheps8.
SIPPn00b, what an absolute load of total tosh, Myo never ever recommended anyone to buy or sell shares in SXX, what a moronic post if ever I read one today, out of all the posters on this board Myo stood out as someone who only ever posted factual information on the projects engineering progress and did not get involved in the type of nonsense you spout, today is a very sad day indeed for all of us investors in SXX and I like many who have the slightest bit of integrity do not go looking to blame anyone on here for our own decisions unlike you with your weasel words trying to lay blame at anyone's door rather than being a man and accepting responsibility for your own actions.
Sheps8.
Sheps8.
The reality is that the increasing value in your investment lies in the production of Polyhalite, I believe that the BOD will fight tooth and nail to see this to that conclusion, I also believe they will achieve that goal.
Sheps8.
The Irony KOH, is that 'someone' deemed my Multiple ID post the other day a bit too hot to handle and reported it, so it was removed!!!. I'll let you draw your own conclusions on who that may have been. ;-).
Sheps8.
Private shareholders support this company with their investment in shares, they are NOT there to interfere with the machinations of actually running the company, that's what the BOD and its employees do, this petition is an absolute joke and those of you who think you are doing the company or your own investment any favors by interfering with the financial matters of the Sirius need to give your heads a really good wobble, in fact I'm surprised the person who created this petition is not under constant adult supervision, I would consider it a joke or funny if it wasn't so serious, I recon the biggest threat to SXX is the mind numbing idiotic behavior of some of its investors sometimes.
