What are you guys waffling on about this time?! This will simply be domiciled in the US instead of the UK; it really is as simple as that. It's technology will be just as available as it is now; only the company will be better run (and more aggressively run). The Regulator will wave this through without any issue at all! Why is it, that you simply cannot accept the inevitable here? It's 100% a formality for them. DT will de-list and that's that.

Move our money on and you might actually make a few quid between now and then; as it's completely 'dead money' here. . . .

Berenberg, are an interesting one. I am not biased here but am going to state something that has been apparent to me, for about three years now. Berenberg I have found to be totally out of kilter with other Brokers. I don't know wether they do it for the publicity, but if one broker is saying (just for example), £5 - then Berenberg will come up with £2.90. This applies on both the Buy or Sell side; it's all very odd and for me at least, especially apparent with Berenberg specifically. There is a major part of me that thinks they do it on purpose; almost as if to 'attract the eye'.

However, as a direct result of this having happened so often before, I now always ignore their Target Prices. . . ATB

It was anything BUT "clueless". It was a really well thought out/executed transaction. You have much to learn Charles and looking at 'momentum' stocks might be a good start. I spotted RR and went for it. Selling DT was inspired, if I don't say so myself. It worked out SO well (and yes, I'm still in RR). You got mugged here and were also buying right up into the £9's (and I clearly remember thinking this guy is nuts buying into this artificial 'immediate post IPO frenzied spike'!). Now THAT was definitely clueless!! This did not work out for you . . . s**t happens.

To be fair Kick, 95% of people thought his posts were total nonsense. Maybe two or three seemed to think his posts were worthy in some way, but overall, very few people took any notice of them; indeed many people here just filtered him.

That said, I did warn him well over a year ago, that he was going to drive everyone away from this Board; and 'lo it came to pass'.

Clued - given that people are very often, 'investing' their life savings and pension pots in equities (like DT for example), I'm constantly stunned at how little they actually know about this game. They 'invest' zero money in being trained in the various aspects of trading. It's crazy. They simply stick a finger in the air, think positive, stick a few 'lucky' 888's after their name and literally just 'take a punt'. They will lose 75% of their cash, all year long, with this approach. This game is 80% skill and 20% luck. NOT the other way round - which is how 90% of folk on these chat boards approach it!! It's unbelievable. Spend a couple of £grand and get properly trained; you will comfortably recoup the money within a year. Ignorance is expensive and also destroys the value of your Bank Balance and Pension Pot. Good Luck with your next move, as thankfully, this Darktrace journey is finally over. . . . 🫡

100% ALWAYS WAS A 'DONE DEAL'.

IT WAS NEVER IN ANY DOUBT - AS A CITY ANALYST FRIEND TOLD ME, AT THE TIME THAT THE OFFER WAS MADE . . . .

Clued - people will make (and save) themselves, a substantial amount of money, by paying to be trained on the use and interpretation of 'technicals' (in particular, RSI, MACD and Bollinger). They are a vital tool - but very very few PI's know how to use them; hence why they tend to shun them and say they're 'a waste of time'. If you took a professional course, you would never be an investor without using them again, as they are a 100% crucial 'tool' (one of many) in the investment process - from the initial Buy point, throughout the Hold phase and subsequently to the final Sell point. However, very, very few people on these chat boards have ever paid to be been trained in their use and application; so they come up very infrequently in peoples' posts and are often scoffed at. But that's largely through ignorance! BIG mistake! Professional Traders and Fund Managers are always trained to use them. Always.

Anyway, it's all over here, so it doesn't really matter anymore . .

People have made some serious mistakes here. Here are just a few, mainly by one person only:

A. Far too much emotional involvement. B. Incapable of selling. C. Unable to read what the technicals are saying. D. No idea how to comprehend a Balance Sheet. E. Too easily suckered in, by ignorant and naive investors here. F. Far too reliant on Broker target prices. And finally, G. Making numbers up that they have pulled out of their Backsides but cannot, in any way, back-up. It's frightening really that they are even in this game.

Anyway, it's over now, so you can move on and make the same mistakes elsewhere instead. If you are still posting here next week, then you are a seriously sad individual. . . . MOVE ON 🤡

This would need to be over £18 now (like that was ever going to happen!), to make me the same amount of profit that I have secured with Rolls Royce. I'm just so pleased that I got out, as DT has simply not been worth the time or terrible PI hype. It's been a disaster too for any folk who paid north of £6; sadly, it's BIG losses for them. I took a (very calculated) c.£1,600 loss here, but felt it would be worth crystallising it, to move into RR. Did I get lucky? Yes I did. BUT it was good, reasoned, investing. Ultimately, sitting on shares that are not performing, in the vague hope that one day they will, is never a good idea. The more that people ramped this, the more suspicious I became of it all. Too many got too 'emotionally involved' here, which also is always a bad idea. And with that, came ever increasing (and desperate sounding) repetitive rubbish. Soon this board will also be history, which will be a good thing, as the only meaningful winners here are the BoD and their buddies at TB. ATB 🫡

Wiggy, when the deal has completed later in the year, the company has de-listed and the additional 1p shares allocated, then yes, 'in theory', you can sell them. BUT (and it is a very big BUT) be VERY careful, as for at least the next five to ten years (assuming this hound ever gets itself back on track enough, to encourage someone to want to buy them off you!), they will be extremely hard to off-load. This company is a mess, both Financially and falling Sales alike. This quite simply, is NOT a good investment (in my view) and should be approached with great caution. They want (and desperately need more of your cash) but 'could' quite easily sink under their debt and go out of business all-together. It's a total gamble. . . . . ATB
