It 'means' that they're trying to bag as much cash as possible, before the de-list. Cash which you won't get back (in all probability). It's not dissimilar to buying a bucket with holes in; just don't waste your hard-earned, as JD will snaffle it all. I mean you could not make it up; trying to flog shares at 1p a pop, when they used to be worth £20! Tiny Red Flag perhaps?!!

Pumpky, that's exactly correct, but I got blasted here for saying it weeks ago. Forget the 'theory' of selling de-listed shares, as the reality is VERY different. They are notoriously hard to off-load, following a de-list. 'Over the Counter' is totally flawed - for the seller at least. Great if you're JD though! I guess it comes down to taking 6p or gambling and quite likely, getting nothing down the line.

And THAT is precisely the "heads they win, tails you lose" position, that they want you to be in. JD and his merry band of highway robbers, have properly shafted the little PI's here.

Another fast-growing firm from London’s tech sector is being taken private in a multi-million pound transatlantic private equity bid.

IQGeo, which provides the software used to power next-generation telecoms networks, is being bought by legendary US private equity house KKR for £333 million.

The all-cash takeout bid is priced at 480p per share. The stock closed at 405p yesterday. It leapt 65p, or over 16%, to 463p this morning.

The offer premium is of around 48% compared to the stock’s twelve-month volume weighted average price of 325p, according to the bid announcement.

“KKR sees an opportunity to accelerate IQGeo's transition towards a recurring software centric business model and the development of IQGeo's future product roadmap under private ownership”, it said today.

“IQGeo's sector is developing rapidly, as fibre and grid infrastructure are undergoing major transformation and upgrades to deliver against national connectivity and sustainability goals”, it added.

No point in them being here any longer, as it's going to remain here (+/- half a penny) until it de-lists. They'll just move on to the next mortally wounded company. . . and short that instead. This is simply flat-lining every week.

Nonetheless, they said it is "fair and reasonable"; presumably in conjunction with the Lawyers and Accountanrs too, as it's been rumbling on for months now so they will ALL have been consulted). You need to read DT web site published articles properly. It is JEFFERIES that have specifically advised the Board of Directors to accept the TB offer. It is there in Black and White on the Darktrace Plc web site, so read it!

That is incorrect Desertsands . As part of their Bonus Plan they are obliged to take one third of it as shares. That is NOT the same thing as just buying shares in the open market, because they want to invest in DT! It is a contractual obligation not an investment by both the CEO and the CFO . . . .

Here it is: "Pursuant to the terms of the FY2023 bonus plan, one third of the PDMRs' bonuses are required to be held as Shares".

For those that are not aware, a PDMR is a "Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities".

I'd be more inclined to listen to someone NOT invested here, especially when it comes to a totally failed penny share like Superdry. I'm not 'emotionally invested' but you most certainly are. You click on "Strong Buy", for each and every post here; now that's a massive (& tacky) ramping red flag, if ever I saw one. 🤪

There's nothing 'to see' here at all, as it's exactly where it started, at 8am last Friday. It's not actually risen at all this week. In fact it is down very slightly (-0.27%) over the last five trading days and down just under 18% over the last month. This company, in my opinion, is being pegged here, prior to it's de-listing. Volumes (very understandably) have totally dried up too. So why would anyone gamble here, when they can actually invest in quality, profitable companies, elsewhere? There are plenty of them - and their share prices are flying. . .it's just so much easier! 🤠
