Patience - I didn't say that they won't start paying dividends again. What I was saying, is that they won't be at previous levels. It just stands to reason. They need to re-build, having sold a major asset, to pay for this fiasco. CBg's 'Balance Sheet' will be first in line and then their shareholders. Again, that makes very good business sense; with the medium/longer term in mind. In my opinion! you just have to accept that previous dividends will take quite a while to get back to, following this absolute joke of a motor finance fiasco. But hey, it is here and it WILL cost CBG. How much will the final £'s Bill be? Who knows!

Just to be clear, I am not interested in dividends with any of my shares; only capital growth. I paid £1.12p for my RR and still have them. That's a big capital gain. With regard to CBG (which I paid £2.12 for) you won't see those kind of 'pre motor finance crisis' dividends coming back, for a very long time. They will severely restrict outgoing cash, in order to build up their balance sheet again. Dividends as and when they come back, will be far less. That's probably about right too.

Seems very much like wishful thinking, now that we find ourselves where we are. This lot can't even prepare as a set of Accounts or arrange an AGM. There is virtually zero chance now of PPP doing any of the above (oil) in my opinion.

Zag there is every chance that your scenario is being discussed. Like you, I had been thinking that back in December, so maybe with this amount of time having now passed and the square root of nothing, it may turn out to be cash raise - also at a few pence. It IS something though, as this constant delaying saga to buy more time just 'has' to be for a reason. May turn out to be a very good one - who knows?

PS and to be very clear, I also have never even looked at this much talked about 'TG Group'. Not for PPP. Not for any Company at all, come to that. To be honest, being on LSE is more than enough for me to deal with!

I guess it could be worse. Over on WG (John Wood Group Plc) the share is being totally massacred. It's an absolute blood-bath. You do really have to feel for those guys, as that's a major FTSE250 Company, of long standing. Well it was, I should say. Really shocking falls and never nice to see, as it's peoples' pensions too. Hopefully nobody here, is also invested over there. ATB

Good morning Tebbin - as you will doubtless know, this sector is littered with failed penny shares. Companies that just didn't play their cards in the right order and simply drifted out of view. PPP may well never come back from this. It's just such a risky sector - for the companies themselves and for the shareholders, who risk their capital investing in them. Just how it goes! ATB 🫡

Believe it or or not. I have literally never even looked at this infamous PPP TG Group. In fact, I have NEVER even looked at TG full stop; if that's even what it's called! You only need to be on one of these types of chat boards, to see the RNS's, which are the only things that really matter. The rest is just 'PI Chat', which isn't of much use, 95% of the time. ATB

Don't concern yourselves with affrm, as he has proven to be spectacularly wrong since last summer. He is GUESSING - just like everyone else here. None of us know. We can only wait.
