I should point out that I take a broker note from MS a lot more seriously than some of the 'smaller' less prestigious houses that typically cover AIM listed stocks; hence my interest!

OK so if that's their first target price then how is it SO much bigger than anyone elses? Not being flippant here, as I have a six figure holding, but it just seems so out of kilter with the other houses covering HUR?? (thanks for the reply)

appreciate that MS are 'overweight' and say that this 'could' go to five times its current price. BUT does anyone know their current target price as all I can find is 'overweight' but with no number to actually go with it.....thanks!

Citigroup downgraded the company's stock to zero pence following yesterday's shock announcement that half-year losses had hit £1.5bn and it had been forced to ask lenders for £300m in emergency funding. The losses were driven by a £1.1bn writedown of Thomas Cook's UK business. Citigroup said there was "option value only" left in Thomas Cook's shares, which tumbled a third on Friday morning in the wake of the remarks". End

Cliffst85 - it’s a ‘political’ thing rather than ‘clinical’ I reckon. People with contrarian interests to those of MTFB lobbied very hard and won. Time will tell what damage a second refusal will now have caused (one refusal was previous to MTFB), but we will know for certain soon enough. Then it will be case of “end-ex” if the meeting did not yield a favourable outcome. .ATB
