Well, yes is the short answer - but it can reverse out so fast that it is barely noticed. 8am (when we all get to see what’s going on, as the market actually kicks in at 7.55am), to 8.30am is always a bit volatile (& therefore a risky time to buy or sell) as the trades balance out from forward buys etc. By 9am you are likely to get a better idea/feel as to how things may play out; hence why I bought more today (That’s ‘in general’ and not specific to Petra Diamonds). Vijay I’m looking in here and clearly I am not the ColDrake! BUT in my opinion, it is a slam dunk certainty that this will reach 26p, and in fact, 30p in due course. Question is - when? In my opinion it will be at some time in June (2019). Go with it, stay calm, be patient and the rest will all fall in to place over the coming weeks. ATB

I added 30,000 yesterday and a further 15,000 this morning; so one of us is wrong and it ain’t me! I would like to think that we will be paying 30p a visit in June now.

My purchase was the 15,000 at 08:12:11am. That's me done now. Every 1p is a pretty chunky amount for me to either gain or lose from here! Gulp :)

yes, 20.5p was very much firewalled yesterday but with a bit more buying (I have bought a further 15,000 already today) we will certainly push on and through 21p....

Here today. I’d really like to think that 20p is the new floor and that we will sit here for a bit and consolidate, but I just don’t know; this one has a mind of its own! ATB.

A nice little pop up at UT time, to give it a further boost. Better odds that we will finish higher than the current share price of exactly 20p as I write. Just a hunch!

And I'll bet you that this expected retrace gets bought in to and not sold in to. Plenty of trading hours left here today. Higher finish I suspect from here.

It's not Shorters related.. It is too early for them to be panicking and re-buying. The very slightest hint of good news (i.e. debt reduction, increase in diamond production, global diamond price recovery etc.) and they will close their positions rapido. At that point you can expect a far sharper price increase than we are seeing today. However, it is good to see a much higher percentage of 'O'-Trades today. . .

expect a retrace of sorts at some stage this morning, but it looks very good. That's over 1million buys and it's only 9.30am!! The Day Traders will take profit, especially when it only costs £6 to buy or sell, but hey that's fine as we want a controlled rise, rather than a spike. . .
