When I was in Motif Bio (total car crash company!), I kept writing that folk would either “make a lot, or lose the lot”. I did this to send out a Mild warning to some, who I felt were getting in way too deep (perhaps being overly influenced by some shocking ramping). Those invested at the time will testify to this. I always had this little niggle in the back of my mind. I NEVER bought into the CEO. He just lacked commercial bite and any sort of charisma to me. There was just ‘something’ about Motif that troubled me but, very foolishly, I failed to take action on these worries - and paid the price! However, Avacta just doesn’t give me that ‘feeling’.I am more than happy with each particular aspect that I have looked into; from the Human Resource at hand to the Product Variation and ability/likelihood of getting it/them to market. I have never written that phrase about ‘making a lot or losing the lot’ here - not once. Why? Well that’s the million dollar question is it not!? I guess you have to bundle all aspects and take a really good look for yourself. Then ask yourself, “how does this company make me feel”? It can so often be as subjective a matter as that - especially on AIM. It’s a funny old game! ATB
