Thanks for that jcb208 as I, after nearly 13 painful years invested here, found his post pretty offensive - and certainly lacking in sensitivity, towards others here. My last post on the matter and all the best to folk here for 2024.

Absolutely hardup. Astonishingly, Lloyds has risen by just 1.27% in the whole of 2023 AND is down 9.61% over the last five years!!!

Why oh Why does every board have to have one moron on it? This is a notoriously quiet period, between Christmas and New Year. Very low volumes. Market Makers trying to move share prices, but to no avail, due to no demand/lack of traffic. Anybody therefore, could have guessed that this week (or indeed today) would be flat; as will tomorrow be [and yes, I know it's a half day!]? Markus99 - £3 is a very major milestone, so you should expect to be held in its fond embrace (+/-10p) for a few weeks now. Most of the re-rate is now complete, so it will need some hefty news to move it on substantially (which could happen at any time). But 2024 consists of 12 months, so there is no rush. . .ATB

Depends entirely on wether or not the assembled team win the key contracts or not! That said, I'd far rather him as part of that team, than not. In my opinion, it HAS to give RR a 'competitive edge' over those other Companies and Consortiums, going after the very same (and very lucrative) Prize. . . . ATB

We will see Peakdread. Not sure it will actually be that big, as he has to go via a RNS with such "important and big" news. If there is no RNS today or tomorrow (as there would have to be, for any such "important and big" deal), then I for one will remain sceptical. Not going to argue the point, as it doesn't matter to me personally, as this year is pretty much baked in now; short of any "important and big" deal RNS of course..... ATB
