Painful though it is, January was always going to be leaning more to the negative side, as retail investors get a touch of the New Years' wobbles. Personally, I am expecting very little from this month, but who knows. Best to be more conservative in terms of expectations, after such a huge price increase, in my opinion; it was always going to surrender some of its recent strong gains. Have a good weekend folks :)

Mystic, the green box has already been removed from earlier this morning. No idea what was written obviously, as I don't see them, but nearly ten were also removed yesterday; so the posts must be pretty derogatory I would imagine (thank goodness for the filter button!). It seems to me that, that by constantly using a thread with the name Jane in, is simply playing into his hands. Today we have had as many Subject Headers with the name Jane in, as we do anything to do with RR. Let's not be stupid here. Don't pander to him, and don't keep replying to subject headers with the name Jane in. Simples!! But seriously folks, It's making this board look a bit silly. From tomorrow, please let's keep the subject headers Rolls Royce related. It's been painful today.

Pernix - these have become very much typical daily movements. Up in the morning, then a retrace come midday. Not worried myself as £3 is pretty much 'about right' for where RR is today; it's going to take a bit of huffing and puffing to blow the £3 door down!. . .

I only read it on the shelf in Waitrose! but if anyone subscribes to 'Investors Chronicle' then there is a pretty large article on Rolls Royce in this weeks' copy. Perhaps someone might be able to copy it across?

Again I am not at all convinced it has anything to do with Japan. The rises are simply being sold into; we have seen rises in the morning, followed by declines in the afternoons, most days in the last three weeks. It's to be expected, that folk get the wobbles at these key £ mark milestones. As long as you are prepared to lower your expectations a bit, for the next few weeks, then there is nothing at all to worry about. It's just catching up with itself!

Precisely FF. It is a very 'psychological' phase in its share price growth. Piecemeal trading won't move it on. Some hefty Institutional buying or a key piece of news will, as I personally believe that the re-rate has now run its course. That leaves it up to the more Organic side of things to move RR on - and the organic side always takes longer than a re-rate. . . ATB

This is much more about the psychological £3 mark and trading resistance levels here, than the accident in Japan. That is why it has been sitting at this level for a while now. It was always going to; after such a meteoric rise, over the last six months (+94.08%!).

And it is also very clear that Jane has not got a clue. Her prediction this morning, is way off!!

Exactly as I have been expecting personally. I have been fully expecting a much slower rate of share price increase, from this £3 price point. Too many, have maybe got too used to very easy, very rapid, share price rises in 2023!? 🤔 We will be parked here (c.£3) for a while yet too, I expect. Rome wasn't built in a day . . . 😅
