The value of terbium is approximately $840-$850 USD per kilogram, though prices fluctuate, with some sources quoting it as over $1,000 USD per kilogram. Terbium is a rare and valuable heavy rare earth element used in high-tech applications like green energy, electronics, and defense, making it a strategically important commodity. Its price is not traded on major commodity exchanges, which can lead to price opacity, and its value is influenced by supply and demand.
Just listened to Rupert at the airport.
Terbium is as far as I know very much sort after re magnets and mentioned recently re the F-35 fighter jet program. The rare earth mineral deal Trump made is massive and Cobra is going to be very exciting going forward. Right time and right place with the direction China is taking and limiting supplies.
News from Cobra very soon I hope.
