Some interesting points there PSSW, the only thing I slightly disagree with you about and you can collectively groan as I sound like a broken record player (again), I'm convinced that the mcap is so utterly, ridiculously low that the serious money doesn't have to get in before the mets. They have the luxury of waiting for the risk to be removed and still multi-bag, mind you when buying pressure does come on we've seen before how hard it is to buy in quantity. Is it Oil who monitors that? Whoever it is has reported some extraordinary quotes in the past, often at least double the regular ask.

The SNP can't be denied another independence referendum now and against the backdrop of Brexit that will be a stroll for Nicola Sturgeon. She's committed to kicking Trident out of the Lochs so where are we going to base our nuclear submarines, there is nowhere as secure, deep or remote? Severe strategic implications. Bad night for the DUP in N Ireland as well so with Johnson's Brexit deal slapping a new regulatory border in the Irish Sea the process has already started there.

Yes Gizz I think it's fair to trace it back to the Miliband decision, Labour needs a complete overhaul to become a realistic opposition again. I really don't think people have thought through the strategic implications of losing Scotland though.

If you look closely at many of the marginals it came down to Remain parties not getting a strategy organised whereas the Leave parties did, even that manoeuvre with the pre-orchestrated Brexit Party Tory stooges leaving during the campaign, dirty but clever. I noted this from the 2018 Scoping Survey which is encouraging - "No deleterious elements have been identified at this stage. However, the zinc concentrate produced at Rubiales was noted to contain 0.12% cadmium and 0.16% mercury so is likely to need appropriate blending at smelters". As I mentioned the other day Osisko Metals of Canada reported some metallurgy in August which they are proclaiming as some of the "cleanest in the world". They had Mercury at 0.31% and reported Cadmium in a different way (ppm) but have found elsewhere that typical penalty thresholds for Cadmium are 0.25-0.30 % so unless I've messed up we're looking good if we replicate Rubiales for impurities.

Hi Oil - Laurence mentioned something to me about the importance of Dr. Even Kirby's work at this stage of the process. I think the established Rubiales connection can give us great confidence about the recoveries, we just need our own proof that any impurities aren't going to hurt us. At Rubiales in the 70's they probably just tipped them down the drain! (joke)

Haha Dave I often feel like that. To be honest if you look at the popular boards on AIM it has become in vogue to jump in and out of stocks. There was a rampfest on EUA and then the herd headed to ROCK even though Palladium is going nuts. If we get good mets it will be absolute mayhem on here again. It does seem to be taking a long time to prepare the report but I'm not leaning towards conspiracy theories this time. I'm more hopeful that they're spending extra time on really spelling out the implications of the mets rather than just regurgitating the numbers. Perhaps we'll get the RNS with all the industry data and a pre-prepared presentation more layman friendly. I'm imagining something like that DNA animation towards the start of Jurassic Park :)

That's true but I do find the websites are updated the day after the FCA so that's where to see short positions first.

Steve it's always difficult to tell on these boards as the skullduggery is rife, but I think I said last week that I sensed you were posting your feelings honestly though I didn't get your strategy. I know you referenced some bad luck elsewhere on AIM (that's a big club to be in, I'm a member too) but it might pay not to judge EUZ in that light. I think they must be the least rampy Exec's I've encountered and they just come across as industry professionals which gives me confidence.

As I mentioned last night that little bit of money yesterday were probably speculating on Thurs being a likely day for good news. Nothing today and gone as quick as they came probably losing a little on the huge spread, mm’s smiling as ever. Nothing to worry about.
