Hate to be a tedious old grump but I suspect the Tweet proves that we are not currently in talks with China Zhenhua. Surely unthinkable that they would hint at negotiations with a Chinese state owned energy company by social media. Not to say there isn't something juicy coming on PII and the presence of Zhenhua in the region may well concentrate other minds, perhaps that's what the Tweet is about, if that's not equally speculative :)

Interesting thoughts - must admit it passed me by at the time. It was in the last op's update so we were probably too busy bemoaning the lack of flow rates on KRT-39ST and accompanying news of the fundraise (apologies if anyone did mention it). I was surprised that there hasn't been any media or presentation material following the farmouts so maybe another one coming, what did they say about buses?

I'm a bit more optimistic. Not a chartist in the slightest but if you look at the trend this year with three huge pieces of news the direction of travel looks much more positive, and as Heps said we could get more flesh on the bones of the CCS anytime.

I share much of your opinion Sundayroast though I'm not sure we can explicitly say that the CCS is funded by partnership. It would make sense given the MOU with Indorama but I don't think we'll know a lot more until the FS is released. They've had two months working on it already but what would be a realistic timeframe I'm not sure.

Yes and assuming the appraisal drilling is successful we embark on the process of moving the 2.77 TCF 2C Contingent Resource into Reserves which will impact our value. No guarantee but Sanning wouldn't be entering into this unless they rate the COS in their and hence our favour.

Hopefully Daniel, if ever you needed to see an example of how a discounted placing can stymie genuinely good news then this was it. Perhaps we'll see a steadier sustainable rise from now on but the company aren't exactly shouting about these achievements, haven't even updated the website.

I'm not holding out much hope for this suggestion but I don't suppose we've considered not responding? I can only speculate as to what motivates someone to troll a share of all things but I'm guessing eliciting an angry response is right up there.

I would expect Indorama Corp to have a hand also, though in true BLOE style almost two years on from the MOU we don't know any more about how that partnership could work.

The big takeaway from that for me is our far superior rate of mineralisation. Would just love to know how long the pen pushing will take and when a picture will start to emerge of what this could be worth to BLOE. We know they're talking about 151.5 million tonnes of CO2 storage mid case but we can't do this on our own obviously.

I was thinking specifically about the Feasibility Study but thanks Gary, interesting.

FID on the CCS will be dependent on the FS and really does anybody have a clue how long that might take? Goes without saying that Block haven't given any indication but does anyone have any comparable examples? I realise there won't be an exact equivalent but maybe a similar CCS project might give us a rough idea.

If we do get news of the Project III farm-out completion can we expect a return to normal company to SH comms? Somehow I doubt it but in the meantime it might be fun to mull over the most pressing questions we all have. Top of my list would be what "successful application of the Company's 'slim-hole' technology" at KRT-39ST means in terms of production and whether it has subsequently been rolled out across PI and PII as suggested. I'd also like some timelines on the CCS FS, who's paying for it etc. It's almost 2 years on from the CCS MOU and unless I've missed something what more do we know about that partnership?

Does anybody remember which RNS had the mention of no longer giving regular production updates? I wanted to remind myself of the excuse (think it was something about confidentiality during farm-in negotiations) but couldn't locate the RNS.

Hopefully with these farmouts we can get more of our contingent resources into proven reserves which will help with funding, though that will take time. Obviously Indorama will have a hand in it but how that will be structured we don't know yet. I'd be staggered if there won't be government grants to help with the project plus I believe there are carbon credit options also. So overall I would expect the CCS financing to be multifaceted, certainly the requirements will be way beyond anything BLOE could raise by issuing equity.
