I honestly think it's more to do with the herd effect I was talking about yesterday. Look at UFO nearly 50% two days running, I have no idea if that's justified I haven't even looked into whether it might or might not be. Genuinely I think a lot of people who jump in don't even bother to research, probably a quick check to see if Zak Mir's chart points up which it usually does and they're in. If they get out with a profit then I guess it works and who can argue. I'm here because I think it will come good on the asset long term, when we're back on the radar with herd that will give us a push but they'll be off again which is why we need the news flow to intensify and not fall victim to the cyclical effect I was taking about yesterday.

Or maybe that's where Conrad would come in with off take financing options?

That would be to implement the outcomes indicated by the PFS on the path to mine development rather than to complete the study itself and yes we know the resource is there now, we know our products are economic and marketable and so if the the PFS continues these positive indications why wouldn't someone want to get on board or buy it out. I don't see EU funding being in anything like that ball park though.

Agreed, it's the first port of call. I used to do my own website which was more of a blog really. But when another company wanted to promote me they explained (diplomatically) that they couldn't with that website. Even as a tiny Ltd company you just can't have a creaky website these days.

I hope they are looking at acquisitions that plan for a future (hopefully) without Covid. Obviously the need for testing isn't going anywhere soon but with their cash position there must be an opportunity to become a more diverse mid-cap pharma.

Trade you could get a vastly improved website for well under £5K. Just out of interest how do you think DB 'pumped' the SP last time? As I remember it, in Sep 19 we had a rally on the visual mineralisation from TO23 and DB reduced their holding.

I never dreamt I'd ever be so bored with EUZ, which is ridiculous as there's so much coming up. I'm even sick to death with the dreadful website when I used to quite like the fact they hardly wasted so much as a few quid on it. Personally I think now as we are entering such an important phase leading up to PFS we need something a bit more professional. Just one example, under 'Spanish Team' they only list Jesús Montero, I'm not an expert on mining but I do know that's not a team. We have Luis, Jose, Emma, Abel and I think another graduate, they should be shouting that from the rooftops especially with EU money up for grabs.

Could just be semantics but I did wonder if the phrase "Grants often available from Spain and the EU for development" in the Annual Report was designed to slightly modify expectations after it was included in the 5th Aug update as "EU grant application for project funding". Is that a subtle shift from EU money being available for the project to a suggestion that funds would only be available for mine development? Later in the report (p16 for anyone interested) it does say in the Director's Report under 'Likely Developments and Expected Results', "Seeking to secure EU backed grants for project progression", which would contradict that theory. Either way I think they should clarify this as soon as possible having RNS'd the application early August.

I think that is one of the problems with sustaining the SP historically with EUZ. We have had this cyclical news flow where each piece of good news tends to lead into a period of operations in which traders can safely leave and set their alerts for a month or two down the line. I'm hoping that the news flow will intensify as we approach the PFS as there should be more unpredictable significant news such as the preliminary marketing agreements with third party concentrate buyers mentioned in the Annual Report.

Perhaps they could try giving Steve Francis another bonus, you don't get this level of performance without rewarding the talent :)

Yep think so I did a dummy sell at 11.1 for a decent amount. Wonder if we'll settle just below the placing price and then the next direction will depend on news?

Many of them are buys showing as sells. The early largish buy caused it because it was at 11.9p (you always pay a bit more for volume particularly with EUZ), I guess that pushed the published offer to 12.5p even though there haven't been any buys over 12p all day. There were then some definite sells but at 9.04am I think the 11.7p and similar are all buys. RNS tomorrow :)

I doubt we'll ever know why it went so low but I guess it's fun speculating :) as we all know it's hardly unusual for a share to slip below a placing price but you normally see more support. I don't think the market liked us losing CB's experience but that was before the placing, maybe the 28th Aug RNS was an invitation to come back in a months time as it's heads down in the numbers until then. We do seem to be prone to this cycle of news which makes it easy for some to trade in and out. Hopefully if they can transparently show that the PFS is costed that might change.

So 11.9p for a decent amount, I wonder if this is just the logical re-rate towards the placing price in anticipation of news? If the institutions expect to make money off the back of 12.75p this is very likely to be a good entry point for PI's. With a PFS in our sights I hope the next good news keeps more money in the stock rather than the usual exit stage left.

Well Zak Mir says 30p is back on so we should fly past the placing price Brikz :) Seriously though he reckons 1-2 months surely in that time we're going to get some significant news one way or another so how can the chart dictate the price over news flow?

Jed it's no mystery as the London Stock Exchange list the last trade as 10.65, so a sell. Google just auto quote that as the price when the mid is still 11p as shown on the real LSE. There was an 11.5 buy on NEX at the close so for once this site showing 11p as the price is correct.
