Bricks I'm not certain how they work out the trailing average, do they use the closing price every day for three years, week or month? Looking at the chart for Zinc (which TP cite as our most significant metal price exposure) I reckon the past three years from now looks pretty similar to the US$2500/t. There was a spike late 2018, the CV low earlier this year and now we're back around the long average mark used in the old SS. Swings and roundabouts eh?

I agree CHRI5P maybe if this does go nuts it will give all investors the chance for a little trade as its almost inevitable it will overshoot, just hope the pull back is checked this time with more frequent and diverse news flow. Interesting on the lead as we often overlook it as it has that old fashioned church roof image, not as shiny as zinc or sexy as silver, however it is still an important flashing material in construction plus the battery applications etc.

Well Bobby if the 'LR didn't do media after the grant' hypothesis holds water we're nailed on for glorious news tomorrow. Nobody hold their breath.

Interesting they offered me 11.09 for 100,000 but that trade was 11.06 for 17,000 it's only a fraction but normally it's less for a bigger chunk, perhaps faint signs of mm's competing for shares. It usually feels like they don't want to hold too much EUZ stock, maybe they've underestimated what's coming? Ramp ramp etc.....

Hi Brikz I'm feeling a lot more upbeat about EUZ this week also. On Rubiales though I think the Lundin article is saying that the Cambrian Vegadeo Limestone formation 'hosts' Rubiales rather than it being part of the Toral licence. I could be wrong of course, should be an easy one to clear up! Let's hope some of these industry investment groups like what they see. GLA and welcome new investors, you'll find this board never hosts any arguments and like today Bobby and myself are always in complete agreement.

When you consider where we were or rather what we were lacking when the last NPV was calculated there has to be a considerable uplift. In the last detailed brokers note (TP Jul 19) they constantly reference the lack of metallurgy as a constraint on our valuation. Add to that the Geotechnical work and Hydrology contributing to the de-risking and it could be pretty interesting. How to calculate a figure from all the added value I haven't got the faintest but I'm hoping your estimates are conservative. I'm expecting some more news soon, LR isn't normally slow to get in front of the camera on news so maybe the absence of media yesterday points to something coming up.

Sorry Bobby missed your 15:32 post. My assumption is that a buyer would inherit the debt but It feels like EUZ want to go all the way. I suspect that has something to do with the departure of CB who had different plans. What a strange day .

You're right Banker the local jurisdiction want this mine. Today proves that and it also proves that EUZ want to be a part of it. This will be a slow burner I'm afraid for the get rich quick brigade. All good.

Agreed Jed this is a tough market and I do understand the frustrations aired today. I think the anger comes when folk expect good news to instantly convert into a higher SP and folk start hitting out at others. We have had good news today and it's reassuring to know we're under the umbrella of the European family rather than the lunatic white knuckle ride that the UK are taking.

Yes Jed I think a combination of the green eyed monster in relation to BZT's success and disappointment that we aren't doing better here is making a certain person lash out at others. After reflecting I've used the filter which I try and avoid but I let myself get dragged into it and it was a pretty pointless conversation with an angry person. There's always going to be other shares doing cartwheels you just can't let it mess with your head, we've had a pretty good day after a bit of selling and I'm wondering if the fact that LR didn't do any media (unless I missed something) suggests there might be something else coming this week.

It won't please everyone as we know some were hoping for a near term conclusion, might explain a few of the departures we saw earlier "The second and third tranches are scheduled to be drawn down over the next 18 months subject to certain, defined, operational milestones". Of course a buyer could inherit the debt but "Biannual repayments of €21,822 begin in 2024, running for 7 years until 2031". Crikey imagine 11 more years of Paramount bleating away just because we haven't gone up as much as BZT :)

I'm wondering if the innovation programme isn't more strong evidence that EUZ intend to go the distance here. Note that CB's departure was swiftly followed by the Conrad announcement who are charged with finding financing solutions before production. Putting two and two together it looks like there could have been differences on the strategy between CG, LR and MC.
