Please forgive me if this sounds stupid but I am going to ask it anyway. in terms of daily movements in share prices (seconds, minutes, hours etc) who drives this? Is it an individual, individuals or a computer. This seems to have gone from red to blue very quickly.

When is the trading update?

My Divi is still sat as cash in my HL account despite me having it down to be reinvested.
I called them today to ask why it hadn’t been reinvested yet. They advised me that they only reinvest at a certain time every month and my money would be reinvested around 11th February. Is this normal. It could be at any price at that point. Could I reinvest it myself as it’s sat as cash?
