Another absolute disaster here today. Does it ever end with ITV? Is it an over reaction? I don’t even have the strength to read the results to find out. Stuck in this absolute dross for another few years. I keep going back to not selling it all to jump into Netflix at £3.50 or £3.60 or whatever it was last year. God give me strength.

Question. Can someone explain how for 4 consecutive days the buy backs have been at record levels but the share price has fallen.

What’s the reason for this?

Total overreaction as always. Who was buying at 89p the other day? Unfortunately this isn’t going to hit £1 anytime soon. Disillusioned would be an understatement.

Thanks Carrington. If the IDS deal is allowed then most definitely it could happen to ITV. I know there have been people on here saying it wouldn’t be allowed but if Royal Mail goes then nothing is off the table.

What’s caused the fall?

Share buy backs. Dividend reinvestment and improving results will keep this at decent levels.

I thought the buy backs might have prevented such large daily falls.
