Is the increased price in stamps going to make much difference here?

I’m not 100% sure as my divis get re invested but I have around 8000 now after buying more on the falls. Again not 100% sure on average but it’s around £3.60 ish I think. Slightly better average than you mate but it’s painful what’s happened to this share. I’m just glad I don’t need to sell.

I really hope not. I think I’ve been clear on here that I’ve every penny I have in here. I know people think that’s crazy and it probably is. It wasn’t at £6.30 plus. I don’t need to sell so that’s the main thing. If I did then I would be absolutely f*cked.

I have to say I’m no expert at all but my day job is in the public sector and the unions are a complete waste of space. Not sure in relation to unions and RM?

I just don’t get this. My best mates dad is a postie and he says they are as busy as ever. He hasn’t seen a slowdown in letters or parcels. Granted that is one sorting office in Manchester but what the blo*dy hell is happening here?

Quick question. I was picking up a parcel around 8am this morning from my local RM delivery office. Outside were 6 British Gas vans. Upon entering the office it appeared the British Gas guys were collecting boxed up parts and putting them in their vans???? Does anyone know anything about this? I also heard on the radio today that RM are trialling electric trikes as in Geneva (my last post). Still can’t believe we are at these levels :-(

Currently having breakfast in Geneva. Overlooking a little yellow post box when the Postie rolls up on a three wheel trike motorbike type of thing which is pulling a little trailer full of parcels. Empties the post box and off he goes. Looked very cool and very different. Looks like collecting post and parcels at the same time???

The wife has had 6 separate Zara parcels delivered this week. All by RM tracked 24. Do they use RM exclusively now?

Agreed. My package went from 65 quid to 140 because my discounts expired. Called them and advised I would stay for the same price. No sorry can’t do that. Madness. When my 31 days notice expires and I’m cut off I can guarantee within a week I will receive a letter saying come back to Sky and we will give you 50% off. It’s madness. Every year exactly the same. It’s only the Sky Q boxes they want back as they are only rented.

I cancelled my Sky Q yesterday as they cancelled my discount. Bring all your boxes and remotes to the post office and return in the prepaid RM bags. I wonder what this generates every year for RM?

Thanks all good and bad. I guess it’s difficult seeing your life savings dwindle before your eyes. I know it’s probably not that sensible having all your eggs in one basket but at £6 plus it seemed a good idea. Will learn from it. I don’t have to sell so fortunate in that regard. Fingers crossed it starts moving upwards soon.

Question. If RM were to pack up and call it a day tomorrow. Close the business and sell all its assets, what would they be worth as a ball park figure?

Still gobsmacked at where this is at. Never thought I would see the day it was this low. Thought when I got in when it was £3.80 something when there was a threat of IA was the bottom. How wrong I was. What would you give for that now?

£1.80? Surely that gives a valuation of less than the current assets? Can’t be right surely?
