I would normally agree Wolf that institutions should take before directors however not in this case. There has been a red flag identified by some on here of directors not buying and they have a history of excuses ranging from "we are not rich" to the usual "we are in possession of market sensitive information"

After not significantly buying for such a long time only deepened the disappointment when they hinted that they were buying this time. If the excuse is that the raise was oversubscribed then they should have simply increase the raise so that the institutions could have been satisfied leaving enough left over for the board.

Personally I'm not that bothered but when they get criticism over this then it cannot be defended. Also there is a trust issue here when they say they will buy and do not so it's not a great picture to be honest. The only good thing to come out of it was it was oversubscribed which is a healthy indicator for future raises.

Seingred in regard to your baiting on the so called maiden resource then I would reiterate that it's not the normal ten year plus project that you would have us believe.

I agree Seingred there is no way of knowing what the SP would be if we were at GGPs mcap and that's why I haven't bothered trying to second guess. I have seen some calc put up before but although they looked feasible, there are far too many variables at play for an accurate assessment. Saying that, I would comfortably predict it would be many multi folds of where we currently sit

Yes Wolf. GGP is not going to do multi folds this year whilst there is every possibility that we will. As you say GGP have a large mcap against them and lots more shares in circulation. If we matched their mcap then our SP would be huge.

Wolf that price would come in handy to offset his losses in his other 70 open positions.

Seingred what's your thoughts on those thinking they can get away with not declaring their capital gains profits?

Do you think that there is a chance they may get away with it or will the taxman always catch up with them?

Seingred firstly I never put a date on Pepas coming into production despite you constantly baiting me to come up with a date. What I have said is that Pepas cannot be classed as a normal mine being brought to production as many of the time consuming permissions or studies have been or can be done easier than for a normal mine therefore I do not class Pepas as a 10 year plus mine for production. Nothing wrong with doing good honest work Seingred it's just a shame the honestly doesn't extend into telling the truth when making profits and losses and claiming success after the event.

Karl I would forgive Seingred if he actually corresponded with Brad and was commenting from the horses mouth but I suppose he doesn't have the time to write. Looking after 70 open positions is a full time job plus he already has a full time job to juggle as well. Couple that with the craving to have his ego massaged on a daily basis then I wonder how he how he finds the time to breathe

Karl I would describe him as a boastful prat.

Twister there may also be some conditions from the JV with Newmont that might effect a sale such as Newmont being guaranteed some future smelting rights.

Twister there is a huge profit to be made here at Pepas with low associated costs.

If they ever did sell then I would have thought they would retain a fair bit of smelting rights however Brad has not indicated that it is the intention to sell Pepas.

Joshi stoneo if you are still working out the tax Bhargav owes to the HMRC then can you at least update us if he is going to voluntarily contact them or wait for them to catch up with him naturally.

Dr I would recommend johnstoneo keeps his ear close to the ground as he might be able to detect the footsteps of the taxman early before he knocks on Bhargavs door

Seingred if you want to know the individual timescale for Pepas then do your own donkey work and write to Brad yourself you lazy sod. As the the Dr previously

stated Brad has alluded to this and the timescales involved are nowhere near what you are blindly indicating so stop prattling on about Pepas when you haven't had the decency to find out information relating to Pepas individually.

Paul I wouldn't assume the plan is to prove up and then sell Pepas. This will be one of the cheapest shallow open mines to operate so the profits here will be fantastic especially as gold continues to rise and operations therefore pbecome cheaper.

A normal mine would take 10 years plus to develop however Pepas is in a position whereby many of the normal lengthy things have either been addressed or can more easily be addressed compared to normal mine timeframes. Also the extraction process is cheaper and easier for a shallow open pit mine so again the timescale to production will be greatly reduced.
