On the concept that with these changes the upside potential vs market cap is significant even if they dilute to bring finally some significant deals to fruition. Enough from me, time to enjoy and see where this goes medium term.

Personally I rather see an RNS telling me that they are continuing to negotiate rather than closing a deal which is less appealing due to weakness in the gas market.

Time will tell but this is a new beast and with the new board with their skin in the game, CVs, connections and no doubt financial backing this has the potential to move from a £2.5mio mcap to a medium size player. Let’s sit back and finally enjoy. Please that also double has been quick in grasping the potential of this RNS.

This is massive. Have you seen the CV of the guys coming in and they money they put into it. Kicked the old useless board out. Time will these but this could become the next early stage RockRose. Bought some more just now.

I can’t comment for others but I haven’t move anywhere ie still invested in here. Money here is clearly for a high risk investment but it form just a part of my larger portfolio. I usually hold medium term, as each time I tried quick punt following some twitter feeds I lost money. I don’t know what my return will be going forward but I have done really well over the last 15 years.

I mentioned this before and this is the last time I spell it out, otherwise we just go over the same ground all the time. I wait in hope for another deal with CAV or another counterpart, time will tell. Enough from me, time to wait patiently.

Helpful, same view/opinion from me. In any case it's always good to have different views, but I think we have now all expressed our thoughts over the last few weeks. Let's sit back and wait patiently.

Double I’m not selling anything to anyone, I have my point a few times already. Time to sit back and wait patiently, like with many other aim stocks.

Double you know that the board is a mean to exchange views and investors or people like you who might not be invested, but express their view, must decide doing their own research and evaluating risk and potential rewards and this is especially the case for small cap aim shares which can move one way or another significantly. Some posting like me clearly think that a company with such small market cap is worth investing and taking a big risk hoping for another deal with CAV or another counterpart or some other event, others rule that out. The same applies to most companies with one or two mio mcap. In the end DYOR and take your own investment decisions on any stock both when buying and selling.

ASH-2 well
Following the announcement on 20 December 2019, issued pursuant to media reports in Egypt, ASH-2, which was drilled to a total depth of 4,030m in the Alem El Buieb (AEB) Formation, has been completed to allow selective production from both an upper and lower reservoir interval. The upper and lower intervals were tested separately at maximum gross rates of 7,027 and 3,851 bopd respectively.

ASH-2 came on stream on 2nd January and has been consistently producing at over 3,000 bopd (660 bopd net to Rockhopper's 22% interest) on a 32/64" choke. The well will continue to be monitored over the coming months, and during this period, the interpretation of the test data and the longer-term planning for the ASH field-development will continue with the joint venture partners and Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation ('EGPC'). The rig is currently being mobilised for the first well in the 2020 infill programme (El Salmiya 5) which is expected to spud shortly.

Since ASH-2 came on stream, gross production from the Abu Sennan licence has averaged c. 8,000 boepd, which equates to c. 1,760 boepd net to Rockhopper's 22% interest.

Yes not great but after investing for 30 years in Aim shares I can quote a good number worst that this. Anyhow enough posts from me, I’ll wait patiently.

And father I agree new board and vision is required to really mark a turnaround, but, as you also know, there are various companies on AIM which are pumped to crazy market cap values and don’t really have any production or more than ADL.

I doubt all the posters here are invested, but the ones who are, like me, know, or should know I hope, the assets currently held by the company and understand that the market cap is a reflection of these elements. The Indonesian deal was worth pursuing and I'm actually pleased that they are not going ahead with Selo at present. I do however agree with others that a stronger board is required. They will evaluate matters and seek other transactions with or without CAV and I continue to wait patiently.

Imo this is certainly not going into administration. I remain of the idea that at this level of market cap the Indo deal was worth a go and we will see if it did work out or not in a matter of weeks and reassess its merits at that stage and see if the CAV connection is worth exploiting further or evaluate other opportunities. I’m relaxed here as ADL are clearly able to get for financial support when needed and are better positioned than other pure cash shells around with no assets nor backing.

Keep coming like this one today, let’s wait and see what happens.

ADL - Operations Update

Andalas Energy, CEO, Simon Gorringe said:

“We look forward to seeing results from the maintenance initative to improve uptime so that we exceed our target production rate of 150 bopd (gross)."

No one knows and pure guesses. Facts are that it is an oil discovery, personally I was happy with a couple of hundred bpod per drill and therefore anything above is a bonus. In any case it’s a clear success which just adds to a deal which was transformational to our cash flow.

Agree that this is held back by people selling at a small profit their 3p placing shares, this has happened for a few trading days now as these were allocated around Christmas for settlement 6.1. I have take a large position at these low levels and do not intend selling any time soon. Incredible deal being wrapped up next week which will transform UOG, cash flow is king. Let’s sit back and enjoy, a drill a quarter etc, plus no doubt BP will come up later in the year with other suggested deals. Why buy an other oil company with higher risk when UOG is available at this crazy market cap. Let’s now sit back and enjoy.

And Co, not go

The raise was done in an incredible difficult market to raise capital but concluded testimony of how compelling the UOG future is post deal. The raise has in my opinion given a one off opportunity to buy or add in the 3p region, I’m a keen buyer at these levels as the Egypt deal soon to be closed is an incredibly smart move and cash generation will start hence reducing dramatically the need for future raises. I can’t see many other companies with similar market cap with such future financial position and therefore the price will catch up once the churn in over. Well done to Brian and go for delivering.
