Imo we are not even at the (50p) start line yet

Currently the noise is people desperate to load up here

So let’s review what we can and can’t expect from results day:

Can expect:

Capita is established as a going concern, it’s more focused, debt is reduced, revenues and profits are improving (although profits are skewed to H2), the turnaround was a success - we are again a fully investable company which should grow and prosper and provide a great return from these levels. We are on track.

Can’t expect

Dividends and share BUY backs won’t happen this year but will be a massive sp driver in next few years imo

In my view this year we have enough sp drivers that they can be kept in our back pocket for now

Rerate based on clearly established going concern

Re entry back in to FTSE 250 (possibly this year)

More contract wins

Further debt reduction from towards year end onwards

For me all these possibilities make this the most exciting investment in town

Dividends and share BUY backs won’t happen this year- that’s why my target of over £1 is in the year to 18 month range - in that period I think up to £1.30 / £1.50 could be possible

This year I’m thinking more 60p to 80p as more realistic

Yes I agree 40p should get us back in FTSE 250

That then sets in motion forced BUYing of IIs that track the index

That’s when I expect a run towards £1

That’s my view anyway

Capita are not desperate, they are ON TRACK to deliver full year expected results, they are AHEAD of programme on disposals

They have a timeline for more non core disposals to further reduce debt

They are growing revenues

They are just going about business now - in a calm and predictable way

That’s why the sp will now rerate imo

The markets love predictable

Over £50 million ahead of target 6 months EARLY

Other disposals planned to commence by END of year to further reduce debt - but guys, it’s not a firesale, Capita are not desperate to sell having already over achieved on target.

That’s the sign of a very HEALTHY company not a desperate company

And because Capita is now a healthy company with a clear vision and strategy to further materially reduce debt the sp, will imo, strongly rerate

Capita are AHEAD of their disposals target by £75 million and have provided clear guidance on the timelines for further disposals. As confirmed in the Trading Update:

We continue to execute on our plan to reduce debt through the disposal of non-core businesses.

Since the beginning of 2022, we have launched three further processes and we expect to have launched the disposal processes of all our remaining Portfolio businesses by the end of the year.

This year we have completed the disposal of four businesses:

Secure Solutions and Services, AMT Sybex, Specialty Insurance, and Trustmarque.

As a result, we have received total proceeds of over £750m from previously announced disposals, exceeding our £700m target, six months earlier than originally announced.

Well he’s persistent if nothing else, I kinda like him, but I wish he’d wise up and get onboard- we could all make lots of money together as this smashes through 30p

Soon 30p will be new floor imo

I think clearing debt is their main priority in the next year or two - they’ve already reduced it significantly and want to finish the job. Once that’s completed I think dividends may restart.

For me the explosive potential sp growth of clearing debt, rejoining FTSE 250 etc is my first target

Then longer term yearly dividend income - restarting from say 2024 is my next target

They have also changed focus from a more UK focus to a global focus as well as developing AI to open new lucrative markets

My thoughts are the sp currently still reflects the company being distressed, and the forced selling of dropping out of the FTSE 250 (by IIs that track the index)

We know the company is no longer distressed- revenues and profits growing (although we already know there will be a small dip in profit for half year- with profits weighted to 2nd half)

We know we are on target to hit full year targets

We know customers are returning and existing customers are renewing

So the company is now back on a growth projectory from everything we’ve been told

So it’s just a fact, imo, that the company just need to continue this story to attract more and more II interest

Which is why the CEO is confident this will be back over a £1 in a year or so

That’s one broker with a neutral rating

There are numerous brokers sat at 50p with recommendations such as OVERWEIGHT

We’ve heard this won’t go above….. Y soooo many times

Every time it goes over that figure and usually quite quickly

30p’s soon imo
