And even if WPP don't need S4, would they want a competitor to absorb S4? I think not personally. Given the current depressed MC, it is not a big outlay for WPP.

Poker, Monks and Google already have an alliance. The synergy with what WPP need is there to see. WPP clearly are the big beast in this sector but Monks bring specific AI integration expertise having been ahead of the curve. IMO

I agree, bid and takeover is the most likely scenario. WPP would be a complimentary merger. WPP will be better off owning monks than creating their own AI savvy division. MS could maybe be the chairman if they are all willing to make peace.

It does seem likely a deal to stop the war is round the corner. For all of Putin's bluster, Russia need their 3 day war to end.
