With Kelso buying and raising the prospect of activist investor mediated nudging of the Thg board, holding a short should become more risky. Imo

Having held this far, waiting another 6 months is perfectly fine by me. Once GS has gone, listing upgraded and THG provide the divisional split information - things should be a lot better. If they are not, then i will consider a haircut. Until then, personally i am not going to be too concerned about minor fluctuation.

Paddy, I'm in a similar situation to you. Bought previously at 1.20 and sold at 1.50 only to watch the SP cruise past 220. Boy did I regret selling!
Anyway, having kept this on my watch list, I dipped back in at 116.5, and this time, I'm here until 250+. Atb folk.

Hi Mountainous, I am a 3/10. I have factored zero return from here in my portfolio planning but hold out hope that we will not be completely wiped out. TBH selling now gets me very little value back, so i am in the position whereby letting it run its course makes sense. You win some and lose some. No issues with what may happen. Entirely my own decision. ATB.

A US bank has not stepped in to buy SVB. Will probably happen. Similarly in the UK. Governments can easily provide underwriting guarantees in such situations where risk is low and avoid run on banks due to sheer panic.
The weekend will have been used to sort out deals. Stay calm folk. If bank shares tank, I'm likely to say thanks very much and help myself to a few shares there. Imo of course.

This is temporary and overdone. THG resilience was good given the amount its moved in the last 2 months. Perhaps now that the profit banking has been done, firm hands remain. Imo today will be a better day as calm heads return. Atb
