US loving the shares, moving up strongly now on US open , looking like 325 in next few days and then onwards further I feel :)
Why sell at 318 mate? I feel it’s different this time - oil price is at highest since 2018, so very good situation for SP to go a lot higher! Hold shares and take even more profit is my point of view now, I don’t want to miss a re- rate and see this fly over 350 in the short term- in my opinion. Any thoughts others? GL all
Surly this has got to gap up tomorrow morning! Hopefully a nice week ahead, oil prices rising nicely and we are ahead of the trend here in renewables - watch all the other oil companies get into renewables aswell. Very positive about BP .

Futures nicely up today and oil up overnight. Crazy share price went down during the week as oil up nearly 5% during the week overall. Nice bounce today, expecting maybe 312. GL all
Back in aswell today at 305 , very happy with that, looks like the bottom, above that now over the pond. Happy to invest with this company, massively under valued at the moment. GL all
Yes you can’t moan at day traders - they will always exist and it’s definitely fun trying to play the swings so becomes almost a hobby . Shares are made to be bought and sold . I will eventually become a long term holder but for now I enjoy the volitity of the markets in general.
Very good move Mojo, to sell first thing and buy cheaper again . I watched after you and put a limit buy at 310.54 which I thought I may just get but it didn’t go through. Tomorrow morning for me now hopefully. GL
Mojo, would you buy back in today at sub 312 or wait until tomorrow? Looks like it’s on the cards, maybe lower than that tomorrow- hard to call but certainly don’t see over 320 just yet
Mojo - do you see it dropping further tomorrow?
Mojo , I’m in agreement with all you’ve said. On top of all this Oil down this evening. I think a 305 or lower entrance could be back the cards here soon or at some point . I will be patient- this is my view dyor gl all
I bought over 10 years ago during deep water disaster, held through a bumpy period and came out with profit but then moved onto to other oillys- Aim probably not the greatest idea- yes they went up like crazy but soon lost all profits again. Don’t really touch aim now. Been in and out since the 220’s - wish I’d just held but got caught in at 280’s and it dropped back and sold at a loss so fairly cautious now. Overall slightly up in my isa
I agree bpornot , although it could bounce may be more likely to drop further in coming weeks, especially if wider market sells off. Before when I bought I was mega confident, now I feel worried- like I’m catching a falling knife
Anybody got level 2 ? Cheers
Bp or not.
You did incredibly well yesterday and I was so close to doing the same thing but I hesitated through fear and then had to go to work! - Can’t see it doing the same again today- might be wrong but just feels like it could go a bit lower and now oil down on top of it all. Yesterday now looks just like a bounce In a down trend maybe?
Oil down 1.5 % ! So much going on at the moment
I’m seeing sub £3 here now, just too much downward pressure at the moment, could not believe how it rallied yesterday but that was just a bounce - it seems now. So what’s the support below £3? Any opinions?
This has got me stumped! - held of buying this morning as Dow futures down and yet now BP rising and yet Dow dropping!? How’s that? - is it purely on oil slightly up?
Yep US 14.30 start
Yes still can’t call it, could sink a bit further this afternoon, you’d expect a bounce tomorrow but depends how Dow closes tonight. Do you think “Sell in May and go away”- is coming into play now?
