Have to say I got quite excited when Lokies was launched and I think the rns back in April said 1st orders had been taken. Since then we've heard nothing. Hopefully, its progressing well and as you say there is clear demand for the product.

there's also a royalty payment which I think is c£11 per unit (haven't checked but it's mentioned in a presentation pack published soon after we bought Prolong - May 2017ish). Add this to the manufacturing cost and I'd doubt they consider selling at £50, maybe near £80 ish . Still leaves decent margin for both distributor and retailer.

I agree with c£1.5m for Prolong this financial year though, so we are moving in the right direction.

the sad fact is that for the 6 months to June 30th 2019 we sold c50 units (based on £300 each and total revenue of £15k).

It was available via DTC for whole of this period and also had 3 months in Boots (I think).

I agree getting into fertility clinics is a shrewd move but disagree that CPT can't do advertising. With a limited budget you need to be creative - online via google etc can be very cost effect. We are targeting specific people, those who want to get pregnant and those people will spend money to do so. We don't need a national TV campaign

Similarly CPT could employ a distributor to sell into other regions - yes money will be less but surely MyLotus has a decent gross profit margin to allow a big cut to a distributor and clearly any additional sales are better than none.

At the moment it just looks like 'death by a thousand cuts' and surely CPT will run out of money some day soon.

All seems quite positive at the moment and utilising distributors to kick start selling of Prolong in particular seems very logical - IDP is a small company and margins are high enough that even with distributors cut there will still be a decent gross margin, without any marketing costs.

FinnCap has Prolong rev for 2020 at £0.9m which is probably £300k DTC (same as 2019) and £600k via 6,000 distributor deal already announced. Now we have a US distributor too so these figures look low. KC also mentioned that DFO Global also operate in the German market so if US is successful this seems the logical next step for both sides.

DTC - benefiting from 360 degree strategy
Prolong - HK/Chinese distributor - 5k units
Prolong - Middles East distributor - 1.5k units
While both above were known in US they've signed a distribution agreement with a company called DFO GLobal who as massive and could really do something with the product. This will be alongside IDPs own DTC
New product to be launched in early 2020 and will appeal to a similar customer group as ST so some cross selling is possible.

Prolong expansion in US looks particularly encouraging IMHO

yes Anglesey is valued at £3m - it has a lot less shares in issue than EUZ.

personally I would prefer all invoices to be paid out of cash - that's how well run companies should operate.

Yes, it is small so I'm not overly bothered but it provides ammunition for people to start questioning the cash position of the company. If a company who deals with SKIN like the story they can buy on the open market - no dilution and the share prices goes up.

Similarly it opens up GB for accusations that he's looking after his mates (again). I doubt they could have bought £20k worth at the mid price that the shares were assigned at.

I think this company has great potential and I like GB but every time we take a step forward we take one back with more warrants etc being cashed in. Someone is making money and they are not PIs

cash balance has improved massively despite more retailers being signed up (with their inherent delays in payments).

Much of this must be down to DTC model where payments are received upfront. As stated in annual report DTC increased by 22% in 2019 which is pretty impressive when you consider they had issues in H1. With c 50% (i think) of revenues generated via this route it takes some of the pressures off receiving payments from retailers.
Also gives IDP some protection from slowdown expected post Brexit in the retail space

Although short in length surely this is a positive RNS. Healthy increase in revenue and gross margins still very high despite the drop in Bitcoin value over the period - proving Argo can make money even when Bitcoin isn't flying, which was a concern.

Similarly converting bitcoin mined into other currencies is surely required to pay for the new machines. The sooner these are paid for the better. This has been interpreted as a negative by some (mainly on ADVFN).

This appears to be a profitable money making machine and Argo is doing exactly what it said it would, yet it appears it has many critics.

I just don't get it.

Revenues are meant to be c£1m for full year as they are H2 weighted.

H1 2020 is meant to coincide with at least one big product launch which should see some revenue growth although it seems possible that you may need to wait until 2021 for the start of the big uplift that has been mentioned

69.4 s are definitely buys - one of them is mine. Pretty sure morning 69.9 was too.

ST sells in Australia seem to have fallen massively over the last couple of years so it's good to see DTC has been re-prioritised and Wonder Serum deals introduced. Judging by recent feedback it seems to have gone down really well.
We do need ST to start selling well outside the UK now so this is a good start.
Hopefully we should see a similar response in US too - similar deals are on their DTC too

Agree, cash has improved drastically and the comments are merely poor attempts at deramping. Marketing spend has increased as has new product development (which isn't recorded on P&L) but with such a healthy gross margin % (c60%) gross profit is high and both these costs are variable so can be tweaked based on gross profits generated (and fixed costs have remained stable).

In cashflow statement cash generated from operations (always a key figure) was c£1.2m and new product development was c900k so this is IDP using money generated to reinvest in the business. Seems a reasonably sensible approach IMHO.

There remains a lot of negativity around this stock and with HC in charge maybe this will never go so it is easy for a deramper to pick on something to create more negativity. Add Brexit uncertainty in, which is impacting all retail stocks, you have the perfect conditions.

Incidentally - new product range is meant to be in every household hence my comment re shaving and soaps. I'm sure we will find out soon. It won't be make up - we already have Stevie K and this has been put on ice for a couple of years now.

It appears AMP will continue selling some shares throughout remainder of 2019 and 2020 to pay off their loan as they have no alternative access to cash.
This will clearly not help the share price over the coming months

HSRO- the broad range could be personal skincare, for example, and could include everything from moisturising, shaving, soaps, acne creams etc.

Expect next update will be NOV AGM statement but could do with some positivity asap as didn't think we'd see 60's ever again after hitting 2019 profits.

Some early deals with lower margins, but money upfront, to increase exposure in 'smaller markets' seems a sensible approach to me.
Clearly SOH has taken a different approach.

Hi, this weekend I was talking to a big IDP fan and when I asked about the new product(s) being developed he suggested it might include a women's shaving cream (amongst the 12 SKUs as mentioned in the annual accounts).

This got me thinking as my wife has used my shaving creams/gels for years to do her legs. It appears there are very few female shaving products out there. Amazing really when you think that probably 90% shave their legs (and these days other parts too!!).

On Boots I could find only 2 or 3 products including this new one

So if this is one of the areas IDP are going for it seems there is a big market and this space appears to be under developed.
