Hi PM44. The company is listed on the AIM for investment purposes. However, it is an Australian incorporated company that announces its financial results in A$, not £'s. Any future dividend (it probably won't pay any, but let's not spoil the dream), would be paid in Aus cents, then changed to pence afterwards. I have the same with a Cypriot company that pays in their currency, then it is exchanged into sterling.

PM44, SEE is an Australian company, they with sell for Australian dollars, not pound sterling. I don't suppose there is any upside to that exchange rate.

I don't think anyone is saying that we have a contract as such with Daimler. The inference is that as we are with Mercedes at the moment, there is possibly a better than average chance of getting into Daimler now as they are the same group. It may be taking 2+2 and making 5, but who cares, I'm content at the moment.

Mercedes have signed a deal with SEE. Daimler are part of Mercedes.

I have heard of EVO, but never knew that they were part of Daimler, I never needed to know. But now that I do..........hells bells, this is just getting better.

Leno, many thanks for your highly researched reply, impeccable as always. I do still have concerns about having the necessary tooling up in place. Although I don't come from a manufacturing background, I have heard so many horror stories of companies missing their figures due to not anticipating the demand directly.

Reading between the lines, there appeared to be a slight delay in the shipping out of the Guardian units last month or so. I'd be interested in whether this was caused by manufacturing delays or testing. If the former, then this could be a concern as it could indicate that the main manufacturers (VS International I believe?) may not be up to speed yet with their tooling up. Once Fovio comes on stream en-mass, as well as Guardian, they will need to be fully ready for this and tooled appropriately, otherwise all this talk of numbers of units will be in vain.

Just to keep A8 happy, Smarteye have gained nearly 40% since Monday in a steady rise. Although their Guru at Redeye doesn't appear to have written any more about Seeing Machines last OEM win since his humble pie post.

Unfortunately my sarcasm doesn't come across in a post. The Nic chart is just that, a chart. I'm not a chartist and don't have time to get to know them that well. I'm staying in and may top up again if it drops a bit more. My gut thoughts are that it will continue with a spike here and there on the issue of a good RNS, especially if it is another OEM win, however, investors, especially those newer than me i.e. over the last year, are going to want to see hard cash in the bank. Once they can see that then I think the sky is the limit. As for Safestocks? I partially agree with A8, he is a ramper pure and simple, with figures that are for our glorification. However, I love them to bits. It makes me very happy when I see another Safestocks article.

Oh well, it didn't hit the 9.9 today, so it looks as though it's heading for 7.5 now. I'm getting ready to top up :)

Obviously two different systems, being Fovio and Guardian, but I have had the same nagging doubts too over the last week or so which I kept to myself. I assume that they are going to be made by the same manufacturer? If so, they have a very strong interest in succeeding with the manufacturing, being as they are a major shareholder in SEE.

He is a great ramper, which does it for me. However, his assertion that we will be taken over this year is a hell of a worry, unless it really was for a very decent sum - �1 share anyone?

I read the non-exclusive bit as meaning that the distributor can go to any other DMS company for future deals. Obviously there are two ways of reading it and I took the negative route. Dammit!

An RNS is always welcome, especially with good news. But this one did have a dampener by stating that the deal isn't an exclusive deal. Did they actually have to put that bit in? They really must learn how to use an RNS to their advantage without being deceitful. There was just a little to much truth in that RNS, they should have left the non-exclusive bit out.

An RNS issued concerning the annual general meeting. Don't get excited though, it's only the results of the shareholder votes. No other news.
