I agree if HC is asking how much production is hedged and at what price then its all in the latest presentation and also 1 April presentation. Otherwise I am really confused what HC is asking.

Pearls did you read the response from a few of us saying that buy-back isn't a good decision. First aim is remove debt, then show the market your serious by paying dividends at a sustainable long term rate and then buy back maybe an option is money is left over.

Have you factored in that shares are 20 times less in circulation since consolidation? Maybe it's the other way round that volume has nearly doubled since consolidation and creditors have started sell up hence the drag on share prices?

I'm not that much under - I can absorb a bit of volatility. I guess you're invested here also hence why you are posting on the board. NAV at best can only be used as floor for share price as that's what available to shareholders if the business stops trading. Stocks are nothing more than speculative assets to buy a stream of potential dividends over a long term.

But enq if heavily in debt of 1.3 billion at end of 2020 and little liquidity. Debt ratio is 4 vs hbr debt ratio of 0.8 (or 0.4 allowing for liquidity) . That makes a lot of difference as the Fcf is just servicing the debt. This was an issue pre pandemic hence the value is only less than 30% from 18 months ago whereas Shell BP hbr and others are still 40% or more below pre pandemic levels. I suggest you create a discounted cash flow model to analyse the stocks.

Jw61 exactly what I was thinking. Doing buy-backs make no sense and frustrates me when others keep posting they should do buybacks. Glad they don't run a business lol.

Nice to see that yesterday we were down in line with market and today we are up beating the market. This should give us some confidence in hbr.

I might be mistaken here myself but the term structure of the gas hedges is very different to their oil hedges for which I think makes a difference. But I could be totally wrong. It looks like they expect oil prices to rise over the years and gas prices to fall!

Which means that the NAV should be higher than 4.28 even more reason to hold onto the stock. But I guess hedges minimises the impact. But we do forget to track gas prices on this board lol.

Ilikethestock your figures I agree with its January whose NAV statement at the start of thread that I'm questioning. I don't like statements without actual facts and figures or any guidance that those numbers can be verified.

Where did you get your figures from as they haven't provided any balance sheet (given just 3 months old). Plus a share price should reflect the present value of future cash flows. If you compare against NAV you'll find a lot of companies NAV is way less then MC. For example, apple NAV is 120b vs MC of 2trillion. Tesla NAV 14b vs MC of 660bl.
