Not yet a shareholder, but have had a jealous eye on GDR since they were 43p in January.
What attracted me the most was the small amount of shares in issue....what kept me away was.... the small amount of shares in issue!

Its infuriating that GDR board like most others are complete RIP offs!
They can always rely on us good old loyal shareholders when things go wrong, who will get the 'lucky' option to SPEND more of our hard earnt to feel like we get the deal of the century with discount priced shares soon to be offered! Surprise surprise!
Seen it time and time again with many companies, they know what they are doing, and it angers me.
Really does stink and makes me sick.
I hope you all get out with profit in this share, whether you are short term or long term. I have a get in price In mind which i dont want to share on the board. But if it gets there I will be buying £2,000 worth and get out when I have made a few hundred (if I do).
No more being a loyal investor for me, I will gamble this small amount and hopefully MAKE some profit for a change and actually TAKE some profit for a change.

I am completely baffled by zero yes ZERO updates on Brazil following such an amazing trail with such huge and promising results...
...we are a small cap company with a product well ahead of market leaders, the world is screaming for a product like ours, yet nothing? No update on what is happening next in Brazil, why?
Even if its just to say they have applied for bigger trail? Or Just to say they have requested their treatment to be pushed or rushed forward for emergency use given unprecedented world events?
They havent even got to say something is happening, just that they are pushing, requesting, anything?

They have gone from regular updates to silence?
Hopefully something is cooking, and it smells divine.
I've a feeling we will find out soon enough.

I wonder how many of us there are now? My guess under 200 PI's? Who knows? In the circle of friends back in those days I had 7 other friends/ work colleagues who wanted a slice of the action of GKP seeing how well I was doing.
All have since sold, just me continuing to hold. none of them made a profit. 4 of them I no longer see anymore.

This post only relates to LTH...
My thoughts are, what will you do this time when the share price, ok I'll say 'if' the share price reaches £4.69 from OO of £0.82p new world?
Big mental blocker for me!
Let's say KRG have contract agreement with Baghdad of no more than 250,000 bpd to be sent.
Since then GKP have gone from 40,000 to 110,000 bpd.
Money making machine, PSC working how we were told, M and A happening all around us... and sp has risen very quickly to £4:60p area?

In such circumstances I will honestly say I will hold.
My own aim is £17.50p M/C of £3.5 billion. Having seen the company been worth that amount on speculation alone.

Of course it's easy for me to say this now, but will I follow through? Who knows. At around £5:25p I will have my original investment back and if it gets there I may bow out with honour knowing it didnt cost me financially only mentally! but I feel I have earned so much more over the last 11 years of loyalty, due to that mental stress, heartache and anger. GKP can give this shareholder a bit back I hope!
If all the signs are great and price is rising like it did over at NCYT then I hope us LTH's can help each other through it to see the mythical figure of £8 and beyond!

It's been very boring the past 5 years just the way Ferrier said it would be in his rein, but his time has been and gone yet we all continue to hold and top up. Albeit only a few of us doing so now.

We deserve a bit of excitement like we had back in 2010 - 2012.
Hopefully this is the year we see it, all sounding like it could be yet again, lol.

If they dont agree an oil law with in the next 12 months or sooner they will regret it this time

These poor people in Brazil need TILS help now.
The world is locking Brazil out.

Hopefully both governments are beginning to realise if they want to make full potential of the oil they have, then they have only got 10-15 years left to maximize there profits.
Time is literally getting away from both sides.
The sooner they sign a deal the better for both of them.
Electric automobiles are just around the corner (10-15 years) not that long when you think many of us have been invested in GKP as long as that period.

I truly hope the benefits of the deal about to be agreed will ease the pain for all LTH.

I could be wrong but £3.5 billion market cap in GKP post open offer era is about £17.50p instead of the £4.69 pre open offer.

Great story watching this rise from around 43p a couple if Fridays ago when I thought about buying in.
Biggest regret for me. But well done to all of you. Hopefully you have your own profit numbers to collect when the time is right.

With world reports on treatments 'supposedly' not as effective as Vaccines. TILS will have many people over the moon as well as others worried that our treatment has proof of not only work but showing remarkable improvements in covid patients health.

Fun will restart soon, As days go by more debates about weakness in current vaccines fighting new strains. TILS have the answers. Can't be ignored forever.

For me, I would be more surprised if GKP got to £3 before an Asteroid fell to earth landing on shikan. Gkp then offering a new discount of shares (to shareholders only of course) to help support rebuilding the damaged pipeline from the asteroid of which I will gladly buy up £2,000 shares worth in the latest dilution.

I will offer some advise at the end.
I could write a book about that comment.

Over the past 11 years invested in GKP, 'sounds to good be to be true'. 'This is the one'. Puddle of oil the size of London on just one of 4 blocks and not even looking like the biggest discovery, Ber Bar was alledged to be 1 and a half times the size of shikan, some very intelligent people posting on these boards and a CEO excited like a 7 year old on Christmas eve daily (not an anonymous poster, the CEO)!
So the next month after daily going over everything in my head in June 2010 I took the plunge £9,000 at 82p 23rd July 2010.
That was big money for me. I was going to turn it into £100,000 target.
Soon after I was buying independent for its now infamous talk and possibly GKP being brought out for around £8 a share. (My target being around £11). The share price reached £4.69p (that's £469.00 per share in todays money)

Funny thing is, I wasnt even excited at that share price as I expected as much. Friends had brought along the way around £2.00 - £3.00p range some late comers at £4.00p happy to just double there money.
You have to appreciate I had gone on daily for over a year about this wonder share and people were seeing it play out as I said it would, I was the talk at work.

So I like many others Karan, would call you lucky to have lived through just the covid crisis.
4 things worse....
Being told your company will have to go to court to fight for its existence, came completely out of the blue but then 14 month wait before trail even began! and being asked by colleagues and friends alike what's going on.

Oh yeah, ISIS being created a stone's throw from where you have invested your savings in and seeing them almost take Bahgdad out (saved by the Kurds peshmerger).

Being told in what felt like just a flippant comment that because the government you are partnered with havent been paying your company like they promised. We were giving back the other 3 blocks as we wasnt able to keep up the payments or time table!

Lastly finding out your whole investment has just gone one step further than the BRINK but actually disappeared overnight giving you 2 options... 1) accept you have been a complete fool, learn and move on. Or 2 like I and many others choose throw more money at it in an open offer to hope your new money will do what you hoped the first lot did and BE GRATEFUL FOR IT.

Like a xxxx I choose option 2. For me i need £5.60 from the new 82p offer to recoup me original money back. Bear in mind this then dropped a lot further which I just laughed at. I consider myself lucky, there are others far worse.
