CofE lol was thinking the same about ST...could do with a bit of positivity.
And @ Reapit yes mate seems like there are probably some investors that read that and sold off...well spotted
@ Reapit
...where does it state that sorry? Whats your source?
Nice one @eddie
As long as they don’t feel they need another fundraise kmt
The plot line for this company and what the CEO is trying to achieve, coupled with the fact that they seem to be going in the right direction as mentioned within their updates, the SP should start to reflect this soonish, more so as we will get closer to the end of Q4.
What a ball ache in the mean time though!
All fellow LTHs good luck
Solid update! And As some others have quite rightly pointed out, why on earth would they order more equipment and outline further detailed plans if they have not found what there were looking for eh ;-))
Steady the ship! Up we go! Steady but surely!
And @ ocelot as well as some others ... refreshing contributions mate
@ yanis i agree mate I want to have fun too don’t you worry. Just keeping it conservative on my end for now
Same time I could flank a SP prediction of 100p here and then one day in the next year to two years if actually hits that, I may be labelled as correct. But that would have been a fluke.
I personally don’t think ALBA is beyond reaching some of the great SP heights being mentioned. As long most are aware of what is happening in the background at ALBA and not just investing for an overnight gain based on hot air thats all.
Join the party mate! Plenty of virtual beer to go around haha
Shout out to MrNation and St Tropez for posting facts and figures as much as possible as well!
@jeremiah
Cheers for the beer! Nothing better than a morning dabble in some fine liquid (virtually of course) :-)
I think its absolutely fair to call out extortionate SPs and try and curb the ‘excitement’ of some with a balanced response.
But yes like you say, imagine it does hit those figures though! :-))) I’ll be throwing a party for all the BB holders here haha. I don’t mind seeing and reading stuff where investors ‘hope’ or ‘wish’ where it could end up given the potential, that to me is refreshing and shows good sentiment. But its the ‘absolutely 100%’ type posts that leave me with a shiver down my spine. Anyway.
Good luck mate and all invested here
@ Jeremiah,
I wasn’t planning on becoming a darling, although I have my favourite lipstick on now that I’ve been adorned with such a title lol.
Apologies if I offended you mate, i wasn’t trying to criticise you, just thought your post at the time was slightly aggressive in nature.
Not here to make any enemies, even St Tropez, actually fought his corner a little and gave him a little benefit of the doubt. I always felt a well balanced approach is healthy In response to what someone says on a BB. I’ve had rants on certain BBs about a certain SP but not to deramp. Not a fan of name calling or going in hard on someone is all.
The main reason for the post late last evening was because of what happened to another SP this week, after there was a mass panic sell off for no other reason than mass panic. Im still up on that one thankfully, got in early through research and understand. I just don’t want the same to happen here thats all, because ALBA is potentially a little gem in the making.
Have a good evening all
@ kalps10
Its more the buying and selling due to ramping/deramping that can have an effect on SP. If you can’t connect the two dots then help is also available for that.
And as for your reply about your previous username being something about doing something to someone’s mum, I actually plead you to go back to primary school, thats absolutely where you belong :-)
Sleep well tonight fella
If I can just say..
If and when the news is released, and it is not 100% what people expect, please don’t panic. Seen it happen on another company this week, and expectations far outweighed reality. Expectations were largely high due to subliminal and blatant extortionate SP predictions etc.
I’m very excited about this share/company of course and hold a considerable amount. Lets all try and curb getting ahead of ourselves and ramp this one, even by accident due to enthusiasm. This isn’t aimed at anyone in particular but I just hope people agree that over excitement can sometimes have a negative impact on news day for the majority of investors who rely on rampant posts as an investment strategy.
Lets nourish this company, with a level head and facts and figures, into a fruitful tree, and without overstating an expected SP, as the disappointment in expectation is what sets a panic sell off.
Goos luck to all invested here
@ Grace
It was more the fact as well that almost all investors were hoping for a £1+ opening...it didn’t materialise and that what set the panic in..the 65p opening was just not what people wanted. And one of the main reasons everyone was hoping for a £1+ opening/day was because of hot air surrounding the news.
I firmly believe, that with the news we’ve had, if opinion on SP movement prior to news had been kept conservative then sentiment would have stayed stable, and therefore the SP would have stayed stable.
Unfortunately AIM has a bad reputation but that reputation is largely due to bad investments strategies and hardcore ramping. Anyone holding here now, including myself, is now aware of the true potential of the company going forward and hopefully we all now see this as a decent ROI as well.
No more panic please/DYOR/DO NOT FOLLOW CONFIDENT SOUNDING RAMPANT POSTS/keep level headed/listen to the knowledgable and serious investors
Good luck all
@ Dickie
Theres no right or wrong time to get in within the next few weeks at least anyway.
Thing is major ramping on positive news expectation obviously caused the SP to travel upwards slightly abnormally. The panic that ensued when the SP didn’t open up above £1 on news day caused a major sell off and drop.
Just know that the company is a changed one from what the old one was in terms of operation and SH respect and value. The news was good. The company is good. The products are good. Suzy is doing a swell job. And we have some smart sensible SHs here that know what they are talking about without ramping. A mid-long term hold for sure.
If you’re after possible short term gains then maybe visiting a casino might prove more fruitful.
Good luck mate

Kinda obvious eh sambar
Please refrain from ramping this share from now on, sensible posts for a sensible company..buy and sell when you like, slight bit of positive movement and we start getting the 100p target ****** again. Slowly but surely and no panic
@pebsi,
You talk about AIM a lot in your post. Please explain, cos I have no idea, what is AIM and what is it’s purpose? And furthermore, why do companies try and enlist on the AIM market?
Cheers
@Robsaunders
When an investor such as Adam Hargreaves, who has a tonne experience in this industry, as well being a savvy investor, is saying there is not going to be a placing, what didn’t you quite understand about that?
Just goes to show how little anyone actually cared about them bringing something to the table that actually helped patients in the future. Legit sentiment and positivity behind the company would not have seen this tank at all. Just a load of ‘get rich quick’ schemers looking for a quick payday.
Literally nothing has been done or said to cause this tank other than panic FULL PANIC!
#calmdown
Mr Hargreaves hit the nail on the head!
Thank you for plugging us with some sensible well rounded advice and firm facts!
Well said cofE
This is a little more of an exaggeration on a SP where the news has had a bit of a mixed reaction (a lot of PIs not understand the results properly maybe), and also more than likely a combination of large buy orders at a specific lower SP.
Fair analysis on today and the results Grace, and they weren’t as bad as to cause such a drop in SP hence everyone’s blue feelings.
There will most likely be a retrace and news needs to settle in and be digested sometimes before SP starts to increase again to where it should be. And of course there is more news to look forward to. No doubt todays movement would have touched a few nerves and also may instil some nervousness in newcomers and prospective investors, such that if more ‘positive’ news is released that it’ll tank again.
Let the news digest and see where this is end of the week/two weeks. Obviously do your own risk assessment on this, unlikely to drop tomorrow like it has today but then again one never really knows the markets, as today has proven.
