Hopefully it's a good update then, if I had spare cash I'd be adding and lowering my average.

Anyone know when the next trading update might be? Looking at the historic RNS, I can see there was one in Dec last year but we haven't had one this year.. is that a good sign? And then one in March.

Seemed an overly negative article to me, no balance. Attacked lord Allen, threw in the credit cut and that Matt hasn't dropped the golden share.

Think these guys have too much debt to be paying a dividends but would love it if they did.

It's hard to say, I'd like to think 2.50 is a given but they could turn around and say next div will be cut and rev/ profit is down massively.

Since the div is meant to be secure personally I'd hold until div is announced or just before ex date for best value return.

Just had a quote at £3700, I guess they don't want my business or trying to cover that inflationary loss but it's like £2.8k over my current renewal quote. I wish I could complain about being quoted £400 for insurance.

Aaahh I missed the share consolidation bit. That's just annoying I usually buy in round numbers of shares this is going to give me ocd and have to buy back to cover the number.

If they can maintain their dividends it's an annual return of 12% from a lth it's very attractive even at this price. Although maybe it will fall more on inflation news but I'd hope it's all priced in now.

Yes, effectively your shares will go up in value and the dividends will increase. So buy backs are a good thing usually, although still boggles the mind at how low the share price is currently.

You've had a boe rate rise and inflation news on top. Most shares are down from where they were pre takeover noise.

Everything is down atm though, don't forget boe has just increased interest rates again and the point of increasing interest rates is to get people to stop spending money to reduce inflation. If you're a retail share which this is then that's definitely a bad thing. Where we were 3 weeks ago Vs now is different climate. Closer to a recession and higher interest rates with more on the way. The price will increase next week just got to get out of the bad news and hopefully be at a stable but increasing price. This is a lth don't get hung up on the daily.
