Good evening Banktech . Still a bit lacklustre with the brothers . Guess what , even though I haven't sold yet I've finished up with BARC. Only have a small number , but averaged down twice today and i'm up on them now ! Only very small change but the small change adds up . Took a small risky punt in GKP as well at exactly the wrong time . Averaged down twice again and came out with a few cents as well . Too risky feeling for me though . Hope BKIR decides to head North again soon !

Hello Banktech . I think I'll stay here for a while . A little holiday ! Besides BKIR gets too much publicity on LSE . These fellows look to turning up a bit again now . Probably the same with bkir . The afternoon mightn't be too bad .

Hello Banktech . You'll have to get back to Ireland and repair our share prices . Decided to post over here as I didn't want to spread too much negativity in BKIR . These ended up on the day so that's a positive sign . ADR also up , another positive . Also some ALBK employee's getting a 3% pay rise . That has to be good news ! That's too much good news in the one day . Good news seems to have a negative effect on Irish Bank shares !

Got in yesterday at 24.4 ! A little bit worried that they are going down now . I could sell at the moment at a good profit ! And get in again at a lower level !

Is this 26.5 p ?

Well , In my enthusism after Lisbon , I jumped headlong into the Irish Banks this morning and smashed my 100 % rule to bits . Very lacklustre day so far all over the Banking sector . Hopefully NYSE spices things up later on today .

Tomorrow Monday back to Irish Banks ! BKIR first choice , but also looking at IPM . A € 5 punt in BKIR at Friday's closing prices is equivilant to € 1500 , so have to watch the margins carefully to stay within my limits , of trying to stay with 100 % margin . I think that the margin required by the company is about 30 % but I feel safer with 100 % margin . Until I get confident with this spread betting anyway . Going short on the Irish banks is still banned . ( IPM very safe bank , but would need to move more than 50 cents at current levels to give 10 % increase ) .

Went Live with my spread betting Friday . Did 3 rolling bets on LLOY and RBS , all buys . A € 5 bet each which is € 15 total . This is the equivilant to buying £ 1100.00 of shares which is a bit scary in the level of leverage obtained for € 15 . They are all down so far , so i'm still in the red on them . Hopefully they will recover a bit on Monday , but i'm covered 100 % on margin so I can let them run until profitable .

I read the news . I still wouldn't touch them with a 20 ft pole for the moment . At least they have a nice lump of cash in the Bank .

Still testing this means of trading in the Demo Account . Have used 6 out of 50 trades so far , so plenty still to go . Up on all trades so far .
