Greetings Farmer and all from Ireland, haven't been active on the spreadbetting for a few years now but set to make a big return :) I was searching for F430 earlier because some of his advice from years ago is resonating in my head at the moment. He seems to be taking a break at the moment but I wish him well if he's looking in. :)

Hi Farmer, F430 et all :) Just making a guest appearance here. I hope you're all going well. I'm still tooling away with the spread betting too. My SB account is all in the blue, but it doesn't matter as i'm holding without selling much. I'm buying small lots of my favourite share and I don't get charged rollover charges because my SB provider are missing a digit or two on their system. I'm still working on and looking at the dollar cost averaging thing using spread betting. Interesting to hear you F430 talking about leverage and not getting over leveraged, it's very important. Spread betting is very safe if you watch the leverage :)

Hi Farmer et all ! I'm doing my long term Dollar cost averaging thing with my favourite shares. I've enough margin to fully cover my bets (under 1:1 leverage) and i'm not getting charged over night financing costs ? Both an observation and a question !

Hi Farmer et all ! Just sneaking a peak back here and saying hello ! I'm not trading any indices , currency etc. but I do keep an eye on the charts all the same. Very interesting times re the survival of the euro etc. I think it's all showmanship or showWomanship myself and there's no danger of the Euro failing . Still down and dirty engineering work for me Farmer! How's the farming going ?

Hi Admin ! I'm having problems accessing LSE.co.UK over the last few days. I can't access it today or yesterday from my laptop but I can from my phone. Other days I can't access it from either. Last Friday 25 November seems to be when my access problems started. I have no problems accessing any other site.

Hi Farmer and all. Bank holiday here today. But busy day for me anyway. Is the UK putting the clocks back, ours are back this weekend. It will be rather confusing if the UK is in a different time zone.

I've also discovered a new feature on LSE , well new to me anyway. Click on your name and it shows you your past posts on the main boards and in the general area which is new to me. Go back through your previous stuff and you'll find the old spread betting thread ! That's if you want to of course .
