Why is the share price dropping ? With me on board it sould be going up ! IMO , etc !

Seeing as this is the board of a spread betting firm , I feel that it is safe to talk about spread betting here without being accused of trying to draw people into the slightly riskier end of the trading spectrum .

I've just joined the Irish arm of these boys . Seeing as there is not too many people around this might be a good place to talk about my experiences of them !

Successful bond issue of 1 billion euro's . A bit of confidence back in the market . IMO etc.

ALBK and BKIR opened down in NYSE land , but are trending strongly upwards . Looking good !

Brave move , buying back in here , Banktech , I hope it goes well for you . I don't think that they look so bad , but just have a little bit more exposure to property than BKIR . Regarding NAMA , NAMA in my mind is only necessary while the property market is a little bit depressed . I think that the property market will start a recovery next year and in 3 - 5 years time we'll all be looking back in history at this time wondering what all the fuss was about !

I've applied for a spread betting account with TDW . Hoping to be signed up this week .

There is some news about this getting amalgamated with some other smaller banks , building societies including the Irish arm of a British Bank , don't know which British bank and don't have time to find out at the moment !

Just looking at their shareprice again ! Was down 36% earlier , now down 12% . Wow that was a fair recovery ! It would have been worth a punt . Hindsight and all that !

Just looking in here . I know almost nothing about McInerney's except have heard of them . A 36% fall in share price . Does that get followed by a 36% rise or further falls ? Are McInerney's borrowed developers or do they have cash in the Bank ? Any information gratefully accepted !

I read that article Andy . Maybe the news is not too bad . The Government does not pay out all the NAMA money in the one go . Kind of like stage payments for a mortgage . It could save the country a lot of money in interest payments as they wouldn't be borrowing all the money in the one go ! What's good for the country might also have benifits for the banks !
