Hi Humpalumps, I just wish you were right but look at the SP movement while the last 20 RNSs have all been positive and very good news. It certainly looks as if it's being suppressed. By whom and why is what interests me. I don't doubt the future of INFA. This BOD is on the ball.

Is not on the list of shorts but the MMs may well be shorting it in their own manner. The SP is certainly being manipulated for whatever reason and until the manipulation ends we are not going to see a decent price.

Thank you for your detailed reply. Let us leave the "buy or sell" argument aside. It's fairly irrelevant now in any case. My reference to figures was misleading. I wanted to suggest that a RNS showing ,( perhaps), exceptional sales for October might cause an effective spike here. I still think that could happen.

I am a realist and I also understand how the sps quoted on ADVFN are generated but the quoted bid / offer all day was .25p/.26p so both the 8m and the 2.5m trades were well above the mid point. There would not be anyone expecting to get the top offer price for a sell. So I guess these were two buys which I took to be an encouraging sign.

I have read with interest some of your earlier posts and I can't fault much of the logic but shares like TOOP frequently defy immediate logic, so I wouldn't be condemnatory too soon. Let it run until TOOP produces the next set of trading numbers and let's see how the market reacts.

A little bit of optimism D14mond. When there is reason for it,(a good RNS will do), the maximum sell volume will change radically, and 3m at o.255p doesn't look too bad for a buy. Let us see! It may become a trading share for the moment but that will suit many investors.

The general market trend is precious little to do with the sp malaise of INFA.The FTSE has fallen 6% in the past couple of months while INFA has fallen 30% in the same period.

The cause of our sorrow is Market Makers. For whatever reason they have been consistently massaging the sp downward despite good news and a super management whose communication with the market is impeccable. Nor would the massaging appear to be in the best interests of the MMs. By failing to make a decent market they have denied themselves a lot of revenue. It is obvious that the suppression of interest ,and the sp of INFA, is being carried out at the behest of some party, or of shorters. Until such times as those interests have been satisfied we are not going to get our just desserts.INFA is a brilliant prospect and without interference the sp would now be well north of 1p.

Could it be possible that " ..construction financing providers " who may be interested in taking a substantial project
level equity stake in the construction phase wish to see the SP restrained thus giving them more for their investment. That would imply that the" detailed discussions " referred to could be at an advanced stage. I hope so!

That was my point spud and Speedy. I just find it hard to see the rationale. One would imagine that the MMs could make a far better market for themselves if they let the SP follow its natural course.Nine trades today with about 3.5m shares traded,( and just 163k sells), is pitiful.It will all come good in time but I wonder why the MMs are putting the shackles on.
But what a good point at which to enter!

is almost certainly being engineered on someones behalf. Despite a cascade of good news it never manages to rise above .6p for any appreciable length of time. A few decent buys are counteracted daily by a few sells which control the SP and deter the buyers.
This is not being done at the behest of the directors who bought at higher prices than those current, so one suspects an entity which is using the MMs to maintain a low SP until such time as we begin to approach the end of FEED, offtake agreements, and the FID. Without interference the SP should be close to 1p now on the back of the progress reported.

how hard it is to put ones finger on the reason for the backslide in a time of such positivity for INFA. I liked number 4 on your list Olderanwiser. Had forgotten about the warrants recently . There hasn't been any news of conversions.
Spud your reasoning will probably turn out to be correct. Anyway I continue to be a glass very full man for INFA.

Don't think it's Brexit,, Packman. 420m shares traded in six weeks and 20 positive, to very positive, RNS's released over the same period and the SP has dropped by 23% in that period. Rationale?

So are all of us surprised. But give us your opinion WHY it's NOT at least 1p. That might be a bit more interesting!

I'll bet that when John Wood was buying his shares in August he would have laughed if anyone had told him he should wait a couple of months and he'd be able to buy them cheaper! Not a criticism,(implied or otherwise), John. Jusrt a wry comment. I think you're doing an excellent job for INFA and for the shareholders.

Despite the excellent news of yesterday and the recent directors buys the bid/ask has noew fallen to .57/.59p. This on the back of a piddling few sales. The share movement for the past couple of weeks has shown a share which is being manipulated very actively by the MMs. It's just hard to guess why. Todays movement won't make much sense unless there is a very large buy being negotiated in the background. We'll see!

There is also a strong possibility that INFA is not an Aiim investors favourite for now. Aim investors like to buy and to profit in short time spaces and whilst our BOD are providing some very good news they are, inter alia, also suggesting that any spikey action won't take place until near to the end of the year. That deters the new blood and keeps the old .24p placers in there taking a few million "off the table" every so often.

There are still lots of stranded investors who got in with the requisitioners and before that time and who are sitting on lots of .70p shares who are waiting patiently for their day in the sun. It will come but it may test the patience.
