Shareholders First !!7 Feb 2020 19:01
On 1 October 2019 the SP was .52p when the acquisition of H&W was announced without,(correct me if I'm wrong ), any kind of consultation with shareholders. Today the SP stands just below .30p a fall of 46%.
In the 1October RNS details of the Riverfort loan were detailed. That Riverfort finance is proving to be as difficult as it has proved to be for many strapped companies!
On 11 November the £6m placing to purchase H&W was launched and completed. Subsequently the Open Offer and Primary Bid was launched with an ambition to raise up to £2m. Both offers combined raised £210k before costs. That's how interested "free" investors were!
In December two "contracts" were announced for H&W. They were to do inspection and maintenance of two ferries and the work lasted about 6 days. It was also work that had been available to H&W before it went bust. Since then no further work has been announced . But an augmented workforce is in place and INFA is paying the salaries and the maintenance costs of the yard. Nobody who attended the AGM thought to askJW what those costs may be ,nor did anyone ask for an up to date financial statement for INFA. Nor has either been provided by the BOD. What I fear is that we may see another placing with its concomitant dilution.
Now we have what will almost certainly be more delay on the Islandmagee project. My immediate concern is the very large financial loss I am suffering as a result of the 73% fall in the SP in the past 12 months. My secondary concern is the current lack of progress and information. The BOD is not responsible for the SP on a day to day basis but it is certainly responsible ,by it's actions, for the catastrophic fall in the past year. I do not know how much JW and AR know about finance but it is quite evident to me that they understand precious little about the way AIM , and it's constituent shareholders, work and think.
So, for now, let's have a little bit more information about the plan for INFA and let it be more transparent with clear financial detail ,JW.
