Paddy Gall, then also many years ago my company sold specialised lacquers to a company which used them for coatings on toothpaste tubes etc., and that company had its premises in the Silvermines in a location which I would guess had been an old mine (silver?). Did you know that location?
By the way my investment in GGP is largely down to reading your brilliant research. So thank you for sharing that with so many.Go well.

Your danawinner post was,sadly, all too accurate. I am one of the shareholders who voted for the requisitioners. When I cast my vote I was unaware of AP's rather chequered business career.
The same bluster and "hard working " rhetoric is now being employed to sucker the PRIM shareholders. And it will probably work again!
But remember he did take the credit for putting JW in the job!

Don't get riled mcadder. I'm as well invested here,(I suspect}, as you are. And my initial investment decision was partly based upon good information you posted.
But progress with an investment ( especially in AIM stocks), needs high confidence on the part of current and putative investors. I do not believe that yesterdays RNS provided that confidence and todays price action tends to suggest that I was right.
Timing of the activity at Mineral Jackpot sampling is "dependent on equipment and contractor availability." RH samples are being "sent to the laboratory".Olympic Gold magnatometer survey is scheduled for completion next month "but timing can't be predicted." The Other Projects section contains the words "uncertain" yet again. And we are reminded that the projects are funded for 2020. That is for just under four months.
I am also invested in GGL and the team there is an exploration outfit . Becoming a miner is expensive and fraught with problems. If Newcrest hadn't put the finance in GGL would not be where it is today. If GWMO has a merchantable gold,(or copper), mine it should be talking to those who can provide the finance and the expertise. That's what will inspire confidence and make our money grow.

Certainly isn't any more ridiculous than some of the posts you've posted here mc. And it would appear that there are plenty who would agree. More sellers than buyers on what shold have been a good news day.

A wishy washy Rns followed by some very inconsequential trades and a far from heart stopping promise by BH to "keep the shareholders advised" is not the stuff of which GGP was made. We need something to suggest that some Newcrest or other might be hovering in the background or this will just languish as the 10-15 percenters take their profit. We need something more positive and promising.

You're quite right Speedy. The SP was .65p at the time of the Requisition. That's 65p in todays consolidated price! I have greatly reduced my holding in INFA as I came to consider the opportunity cost wasn't worth the waiting. But, sadly, when I read Dana's ramp on his current favourite it brought back memories of what we were fed before the requisitioning. Water under the bridge now I guess!

Twenty posts today to ramp one share,( and it ain't INFA). Disingenuous stuff. And the INFA sp today is where it was when you organised the coup d'etat. So spare a thought for the many investors who lost a fortune during you sad residence here!

Thanks for posting and commenting the gold price related article. It puts the falling price of gold into a proper perspective.

The declaration that Russia has developed a Covid vaccine knocked some of the stuffing out of the gold price and,conversely, had a positive affect on equity prices. So the progress made by the GWMO SP was immediately negated.
In any case the company needs to announce something of more substance to create any kind of marketplace progress. A farmin, or positive gold production would fit the bill.

A very good post , Blair Peach. The only way H&W may prosper is through an injection of public money. The same goes for the Islandmagee project, even if the Marine Licence is granted.
Momentum is a crucial element in all share dealing and especially in AIM shares. At the moment that is lacking. And yes the shareholders should be asking for some solid information.

The placing ,as such, wasn't too bad. At least it followed a modest increase in the sp. And the warrants are attractively priced to suggest that the sp may rise again.
The buys today ,( such as they are), have only been for punt money which clearly suggests that there isn't a great deal of faith in the BOD.
What is needed is a positive statement by the BOD indicating the actual mining of even a small quantity of gold. So far there hasn't been any provable positive news. so let's have some, BOD ! Investors aren't encouraged by fine words and no substance.

droderick, thanks for your usual clear response and I do agree with your comment that the raise was/ will be at "a sensible discount ". What I would like to see soon is some good news on the ML, a FID for IM,grant finance, and some clear contract news for H& W.

The first tranche of the placing is necessary just to keep the company afloat while paying off the residue of the H & W purchase price, a few bridging loans and ongoing working capital. That takes the BOD to the limit of its raising authority. Nothing more!
JW speaks about continuing meaningful discussions with the UK Government, the NI Executive, and the project partners but thats how his rhetoric has gone for almost a year now. He speaks of the ML being achieved "as soon as practicable" which is pretty unenlightening, but that's how it's been for a long time!
Clearly the company is skint and it hasn't been able to issue any unequivocal news for a very long time. I'd like to see something factual in relation to how H& W is trading.
I'd also like to have droderick's take on this latest turn of events. He's well researched and invariably practical.

It doesn't tell us anything about the ML,(but you can infer that it isn't imminent ). What it does suggest is that there are no government grants expected anytime soon, and that INFA is in a poor state financially.
