Somebody has sold more than 40m shares . It could be an institution,(most likely) but it is just a procedure decision that has nothing to do with placing shares,which have all been spoken for long ago . Nor is it anything to do with shorting because this will rebound anyway. We'll see. you'll see!

You mirror my own sentiments theyknowitall. I, too, think someone has stepped out. These are not placing shares. I also think CH needs to come up with some fresh sentiment.The recent interviews looked a bit contrived to me.

whistler51. I think that the placing shares have been spoken for long ago. Some other reason for the latest blitz. Even a distressed seller. Who knows! But I do think it's past high time that the BOD told us exactly what the preparatory work being carried out is all about and when it will be completed. And when will the State 16-2 well be put into production. I think we're past the time for vague statements,or indeed no statements at all ! Sentiment on AIM is fragile at least. A constant flow of positive and accurate information is what's needed!

16 Million shares sold just after noon . And they ,at least , were definitely sells. And molatovkid,(and others), don't get hung up about the system. You're not going to change anything there. We'd all be better trying to figure out what's causing the malaise. Then we'd have some idea how to handle our investments.

is more or less immaterial. The spread is currently 5.4/ 5.5p and that represents a fall of 8% in the sp in two days with no bad news, (as usual), to account for it.

3 million shares traded and the sp falls 7% Almost extraordinary ! And no point in asking why at the Webinar. Malcy already asked the question during his interview and the predictable answer he got from CH was " don't know. It's the market ,I suppose", (or words to that effect). The range binding of the SP has been going on now for almost a year despite mainly good news, and I cannot be persuaded that the BOD and it's brokers have not been complicit.
The only error the BOD made related to the financing and the share management was going on even before that. A share that should be trading in the 12-14p range is inexplicably trading at 5.5p. Give me patience. Or a reason!!

I bow to the opinion of Ezhik and the excellent Womo in relation to the gas transportation. But I thought CH had mentioned that as an option some time ago?
And I am somewhat surprised that the company can't provide us with more accurate timings and details in relation to the "infrastructure" activity. It seems unconscionable to me to have a production well available for eight months without providing a more precise programme for delivery of the oil. Remember too that the revenue from State 16-2 would have lightened the placing / funding load.
I have a great deal of respect for CH but, of late, he appears to be a little less transparent than heretofore.For instance we have not been informed as to who are the new institutional investors, in fact we haven't had a holding declaration for a long time. Also, despite statements that indicated that there was an intention to promote the company to US investors I can find no evidence of significant US share buying.
Also the share is very illiquid and that situation has persisted for far too long. Investors,(like me for instance), should be able to dispose of reasonable quantities on the open market. Back in the days CH acknowledged the lack of liquidity but he has never done anything to address the problem.
Don't misunderstand me . I have a great deal of respect for the BOD and I think that in the longer term matters will readjust, but I also think that the fact that ZPHR advanced so rapidly in the first year and a half should not excuse the lacklustre SP performance over the past year. Especially on AIM, the SP of shares is viewed in a very short term perspective.

Thanks Womo , but I read the RNS you refer to and it merely talks about building a surface structure for the sale of the gas. Does that take eight months, (and we still have no completion date), when the gas could be conveyed by tanker with little or no delay?And the crypto currency option still exists without any further clarification. And meanwhile the BOD was raising expensive finance !
PS. For a 1.6B shares company the average daily trading amount at about 10M shares per day over the past month or so has had a decidedly deleterious affect on the SP.

Does anyone actually know what this infrastructure , (which has, so far taken eight months without a completion date), actually entails? Does anyone know when it's likely to be completed? I suspect that the answer to both questions as they relate to PI's is "NO". So why doesn't the BOD make that much clear with a clear timeline!?
The SP today is where it was eight months ago, and State 16 -2 was drilled that long ago.
I considered selling my holding when the SP was around the 7p mark but nobody wanted it on the open market. The SP has fallen to 5.8p without any great press of selling and the current cheerleaders are fairly recent investors who think they have bought in at a very opportune time. I hope they have!
Ever since the semi botched fund raising things have been shaky and light on news which would create an upsurge in the SP. Quite the reverse ,in fact.
I am interested in Trinity which produces 3000bopd and where the adjusted (for consolidation), SP is circa 13P and is where I think ZPHR ought to be. 5.8 p after all the hype is like a bad joke!!

Malbrad,you got it right when you alluded to the 20 December RNS. That's when there was the failure to secure the expected good finance deal related to the new nonop wells and that is when the BOD became less communicative with unusual,(for Zephyr ) delays.
I still remain invested but I'm not quite so trusting in what CH says as I used to be. I'd like to know the precise reason ( infrastructure), for the delay to production from State 16-2. A bit of support from Malcy won't bring the investors back in the short term. And where are the institutional investors who bought into the placing? Not a sign of them. And the SP is at the levels of mid 2021. There appears to have been a glitch here somewhere!!

It should read "State 16-2" of course.

But it seems clear that there was a failed attempt at the end of last year to raise good finance. It is now clear that there will not be a joint venture, a sale of the company, or any other dramatic development. That,(at least partly), explains the selloff by those in the know, and thus the SP fall. Hopefully State-62 may bring about a turnaround soon. But "soon" has multiple meanings in the CH lexicon!

Now watch out for the consolidation.

It has been clear for some time that the CPR had been done and dusted and almost certainly reported to the BOD months ago and the repeated delays were in the nature of a red herring to help control the SP while the BOD was negotiating some other deal which it now appears that, like the financing ,they failed to conclude satisfactorily thereby having to do a massive placing One suspects that they failed to attract a desirable partner before the end of last year and all of this seems to led to a lack of transparency in many matters.
Where are the much trumpeted US investors and why the virtual silence in regard to State 16-2. In fact why the virtual absence of important new disclosures. There is and there has been a lot hidden here over the past 6 to 9 months. The wheels may not have come off but the look a bit wobbly. A 22% SP drop in two days! Almost incredible give the earlier hype.

Watch out for the consolidation!

I don't think so micru. 1.6b shares in issue and and an average of 16m traded daily for five days wouldn't cause the sp to fall 20%. Those who know the rationale are running the company!
