Old options cancelled and a lot of new options issued, although none of these vest for 3 years - so very much a long term incentive. Seem to invest if SP is at least approx 25% higher than today at the time - if I’ve understood it right.

@ B - doubt if we will see a 1-200% rise tomorrow (closer to its value!), I’d be happy if we could get a steady rising trend, continuing to clear out as we go.

None of us can know the timing, but as it looks imminent - whether that is 1 day, 1 week or 1 month - can’t really see the point in gambling on the timing on something so clearly signalled to the market and risk getting it wrong.

He’s put a lot of money into this company over the years - and continues to back it with serious cash - 6% of the company is a fair whack. Clearly thinks it’s way too cheap at present for what’s going on - and I agree - even if I can’t quite stretch to buying 6%!

I thought fair value was calculated like for like at over £20m when Egdon were taken over? Suspect it’s a sign of what a “good job” Heyco are doing if they have now got EOG shareholders talking of under half that!

If Wressle - the only source of income - wasn’t working for 4 months, then it seems reasonable to assume that profits for the year will be a lot lower than previous year. They had planned to start to install jet pump this January, so the profit hit would have been for following year.

I don’t read rns as saying they barely have enough money- rather that they have all they need for this year even if Wressle wasn’t working - which it now is and producing more revenue. In last interview WH referred to having funds to cover anything foreseen for next 18-24 months.

GP - Your “best friend” did post an email response on Twitter from WH saying flowrates end of this week - but as Egdon were presumably providing the timeline, it is completely unreliable! My guess would be sometime over the next two weeks.

Think too many sold for him (says a lot in itself) - I was thinking more likely one of the ultra disgruntled giving up - or could simply be a trading group trying it on - sales look too sudden and persistent to be just coincidental.

Looks like someone (or group) decided to sell off this pm -perhaps the same person who has been shedding in 200/500k loads the last week. Hopefully they will be out or nearly so and we can move on.

@VL. We get a farm in on EG and 2p will be history! Get the market excited about something and it will start to give a proper value to Wressle as well.

Re flowrates I don’t think Egdon tell anyone what’s going on - so can’t see insider knowledge being an issue!

@GP - he did over 700k on 21 Dec when the EG deal was announced. I too am keen for him to buy more but not expecting it every week!

Positive end to overall a good week. Let’s hope this becomes a regular habit by the reshaped (by PIs) board.

The obvious question was why if it’s so good didn’t one of the majors grab it - which they explained really clearly. Could we finally have had a lucky break? I guess only a farm out will answer that - but they are at least giving themselves a short timescale on landing that without too much extra work.

@Geochem. 17 trades today - probably much in line with other similar companies for this time of year. For some reason LSE is recording only some of the trades - presumably a system error.

Same with UJO - seems very thin trading today, market not really got going yet. Let’s see what happens after EQ presentation, flowrate update, Cloughton news and hopefully Irish licence extension this month. Seems that there has already been a slight shift in sentiment - we will see if this is just New Year optimism!
